I had no knowledge of the "Playboy" themed Fighter jets going beyond that singular F-14 example. It would seem I've been proven incorrect
Even a F-18 one, damn
The extra-large F-16 shouldn't be pretty but it is
It looks sooo good
that and the F/B-22
It's a weird thing for sure that they look as good as they do
I forget how big fighter jets actually are lol
Wait till you see a flanker
(not related)
Look at the size of the people compared to the plane
o sick
The Flanker is as the memes would put it, a huge bitch lol
It's so fat you'd think it's American
It's not fat though, it's extremely sleek
Luftwaffe MiG-29's on the ramp
Okay this is sick
A shame they're not used anymore
This is all insanely cool
they are
just not by Germany
there were given to Poland in 2001 or so for 1€ per plane
part of the reason the MiG-29 Sniper upgrade program failed
That's a little too cheap
How is that related? That was Romania's thing, not Poland or Germany
Not a first
Program was developed by Romania and Israel but it was intended to be sold to Germany as well
And any other interested European mig-29 operator
Ooh, so Germany was basically their possible buyer
And with them gone and no one else wanting the program, it got cancelled
However with Germany getting rid of their Fulcrums it left only Romania as a potential buyer
And made the package more expensive
Cuz the less you make the more you pay
It's not the only factor but it's one of the main ones
Yeah thats true
The others being politics, the cost of maintenance and flight of MiG-29's compared to the numerous MiG-21's and the unavailability of Russian Engines and spare parts for the MiG-29's
Since relations with russia got very cold once the romanian revolution occured and the country chose to get close to the west and nato
Poland maintained good commercial relations with Russia post revolution and so they could afford to keep the MiG-29 fleet flying
One of 8 Russian A-50 AWACS aircraft was allegedly shot down in Ukraine
Understood then..
Somehow I doubt it, but if it is true, that's a big loss
that is quite a cool mixture of planes in that squadron
WAIT WHAT?!
I think what it meant to say was "Submarine finder" or "Anti submarine" aircraft
no it's a meme
it and a Il-22M got shot down yesterday
on another note
Falcon and Terminator
Well damn, that is a big loss
When the hell did they put the Terminator next to a F-16
I'd imagine such a secret and important project would not come near anything american
let alone an actual American F-16
1990's were different
That is true
Su-37 was an airshow queen
For a period tthe two sides were more friendly
I mean it is what it is meant for, a test platform for demonstrations
Everyone does, and the Flanker is among the few Russian planes which is good with little to no compromise
Like a genuinely great plane that matches its western counterparts
It has an advantage in close quarters dogfights
other than that i'm not sure
maybe back then
it had advantages in other areas too
with its older R-77 missiles and even newer ones being relatively formidable
it was designed with it being able to counter the western f-14 and f-15 in mind
hence extremely long range, large payload count, great dogfighting capabilities, some multirole aspects thrown in
And much like the F-15, given many variants and improvements over time, though sometimes not very much improved
not sure russian avionics and missiles are as reliable
even then, USSR/Russian pilots got very few flight hours
hence why their planes have to be simpler
the average western pilot is likely much more experienced
simply because they're allowed to fly more
There's no doubt when comparing pilot capablities
doesn't mean they're automatically going to win
But then again, you can just look at the budget of US military to see the point
US miulitary budget is bigger than Russia's, China's and India's combined
british test pilot got to fly a flanker in the 90's and talked to the man who designed it
he said the flanker had to be easy to fly and operate because their pilots don't get much airtime
They often fly in the backseat so they don't really fly but they do get to experience
so i'm not making it up
It is true however
Though not to say that a westenr pilot would be automatically able to use it
obv
probably a question of doctrine too
given the button placements and overall systems are different
yes
easy to fly for the average russian pilot
not any pilot
though iirc he got used to it very quickly
Former RAF Phantom and test pilot, Dave Best, shares how the opportunity came about to fly and test the SU-27 Flanker.
This is a clip from part 2 of Dave's interview which you can watch here - https://www.aircrewinterview.tv/#/testpilot-davebest-pt2/
Watch part 1 here - https://www.aircrewinterview.tv/#/phantom-davebest-pt1/
Thank you to our ...
i suppose that's whyy the plane is a considerable improvement over older planes
Given older planes were often much less forgiving
No doubt
This is really the unfortunate part of being an aviation fan
especially for fighter jets and almost any sort of military stuff
these are tools with one goal in mind, to kill fellow humans
Yet we cannot help but love them
Liking jets for me will always be a bit of a taboo, but I can't help it either
at least when it comes to air combat there is a certain honour to it
you try to destroy a machine
not the one manning it
there was a german ace in ww2 that told another pilot that if he ever caught his squadron mates shooting at a parachute he would shoot them down too
or in another instance, the dutch Falcon pilot who shot down a Serbian Fulcrum in the 90's said he was happy he got a kill but anxious about the pilot surviving. He then felt very relieved and happy when he learned the pilot ejected safely
The point is to kill as many as you can
War crimes are one thing
But death comes regardless
That is really cool
I wouldn't say neediess
Yeah sizes were Incassing
These two's sizes are so insanely different
Yep
Quite a show ir must be
Why is a plane flying with a swastika?
Finnish army/air force insignia
up to 1944
because it was the personal symbol of the swedish noble who donated the first planes to the finns during their civil war
predates the nazis and their use of the symbol
Wasn't it originally a Jewish symbol meaning something else?
Idk
I think I heard that somewhere
Then the Nazis came along and made it a symbol of hate
it's a religious symbol
dating back millenia
in multiple parts of the world
it's a symbol of good
nazi's stole it and pivoted it 45°
in this case the Finnish planes having large swastikas on them has nothing to do with WW2 or the third reich
they were using it before
once they signed an armistic with the USSR in late 1944 they were forced to change it
although they still sometimes use it for medals though
Pre-Armistice Bf-109G:
Post war:
this is a german 109; if you compare the swastikas on this and the finnish one you will see that they are at a different angle
it's an easy way to distinguish german and finnish planes
Yeah pretty much

Japanese know how to show off
Yeah
And they sure know how to paint a plane
They got the only interesting Eagles
Their collection of planes is very cool
Yeah no doubt
It may be the fat Amy but its hardly bigger than a Phantom
Oi who you calling fat
Hehehe
Hehe
Indeed
This last one has to be among the most confusing F-14s out there
Cause it's an Aggressor plane, but unlike every other aggressor plane, it's not based on just a general design scheem known to be used by the enemy, it's a design scheme specifically designed after the version that their enemy country uses
It's literally an imposter F-14
It's extremely difficult to explain to those who arne't as expert as you or I
Yeah, normal aggressors are fine to explain
This particular F-14 aggressor is too similar to the real Iranian F-14 whcih cuases mistakes
I mean
It has the unit name on the fin
And the flag on the tail looks more like the Hungarian one than Iran
The white lines on the rudder are quite odd too
The A in IRIAF is different from the other letters
Yeah but for the people who don't pay as much attention it may be difficult to pint point
Cool image
that is pretty cool
Theyre quite lookers
hat's impressive
Now that is really cool, i love that
I do really like the F16xl
taken from AC discord, by colamitous
Hehe, I'm in that server too
And I've seen his work, he does some great work
Perfect for lore
yes
I love his work and it's served as great inspiration
i do have a sudden urge to play AC7
it's got to wait for now
might start a new playthrough later
with skies restored mod
That'd be great, the new mod is here and it will definitely transform the experience in a very meaningful wah
haven't played AC7 since October or November
need to put my Sniper to good use
I quite like the Estovakian emblem
but Erusea is more fitting consdering Romania is a latin country
Erusea is France
Estovakia is based on Yugoslavia
So Romania is part of it too
no it's not
Oh
Damn, my bad
At least it is closer
geographically
but Romania is different from the rest of the eastern block
the hint is in the country's name
"Romania" -> "Roma" -> "Rome"
Latin language, unlike the rest of the eastern block
French was taught proeminently
I always wondered how that happened
I did actually want to ask
I heard somewhere that Romanians can speak French as well
Area was invaded by Rome and Latin adopted quickly
and for unknown reasons it stuck better than in the rest of eastern europe
There are a lot of slavic influences in the language
but it's still majoritarily latin
it's closer to latin than French
Yesn't
it is taught in school
Yeah it's difficult to imagine
Somewhere from the other side comes and invades you and you become just like them
I guess the people in the region in the current Romania were easily accepting of the invasion of culture
Can you speak it yourself?
and especially last century it was an aristocratic language and a sign of culture
for example during WW2 many Romanian and German soldiers spoke French with one another
well yes but I live in Belgium so I kinda have to ;)
Oh you're a Romanian in Belgium
yes
That's quite a mixture
because Romania is a shithole
Did you move yourself or did your parents move?
parents
when i was 6
I mean I don't know the details, I just know folks always make fun of Romania
Naming it land of gypsies
There a lot of gypsies yes
and there is a lot of hate towards them
if anything it's a common insult to call someone with no common sense a "gypsy"
i don't quite like all this
Communism and Ceausescu's regime have done irreversible damage to people's brains
Pretty much
Though gypsies haven't done much yo not earn the negative reputation that they have
it's a sword with 2 edges
if you condemn people as "bad" and force them to live isolated and don't help them they can't change can they
That is true
same problem with immigration in Western Europe
you got people coming from North Africa for example
Racism will never not be a problem
a lot of them have no education because they couldn't have any in their country
they have little money
so they go to cheap places to live in
the State doesn't give them much help to integrate
as in language lessons, jobs, education, ...
so what do you do when you have no education, are poor, and don't have a job?
Crime
You can't farm since you're in a city
Result: most common nationality in Belgian prisons is Moroccan
not because they are bad people
but because they couldn't integrate
society didn't allow them to
Though there is such a thing as too much immigration as well
Basically you allow people in without having them fulfil some sort of criteria or integrate in some ways
yes
but far-right parties rising in all of Europe to "fight immigration" are avoiding the problem
I agree that it is indeed a problem, something that has earned Muslims a very bad reputation as of recent years
the problem isn't that there is immigration
immigration is necessary
the age pyramid is reversed in most of the West
there are more old people than young people
population is decreasing
Espiecally for these countries whose populations aren't sufficient for their own needs
More often than not its the immigrants who carry the backbone of a country's industry and labor on their backs
the problem is that we need to help those people integrate, help them learn the language, find a job, and get proper education for them and their kids
nothing good comes out of forcing people into ghettos
if europeans migrated to the middle east in the same conditions it probably wouldn't be very different
I don't have anything against most people
I don't agree with most of the rules tied to muslim religion/culture
but who am I to say they're wrong?
to each their own values
as long as you respect me & some basic human principles i'll respect you
If only the world saw things in such a way
no matter who you are
yeah
But each side always does everything they can to create more hate towards each other
It's the way of the world
Certain happenings always make people fear change
Just one unrelated or half related incident can cause people to be extra cautious
yes
but problems often come from multiple sources
people not integrating into a society because of external factors is one issue
people not wanting to integrate is another
that happens too
Pretty much
But sadly population is too high to go case by case
There's no fixing anything
Not now, not ever
Yeah it is annoying how this one wasn't accessible normally
"Nous sommes prêts pour le vol"
Excuse my bad French
Very nice
Sadly I can't translate that, what does it mean?
I really like this
These two are enemy planes, yet look so cool together
Eyyyy, look at that, looks sk cool
Beauty, I can't get enough of it
same
You think the shot is taken over Iran or the USA?
considering the markings say IIAF it could've been taken just after leaving the factory
found my answer
it is in the USA
Would make sense then
It is a funny story how the F-14s got to Iran
Sorta
They basically had to fly them all the way from US to Iran with one or two refuels in the middle
hehe, indeed it must
It's probably as long of a trip as it gets
Iran is literally on the polar opposite side of the planet compared to US
it's about as far of a destination as it can be
Must be kinda peaceful
Sitting up in the sky
Admiring the scenery
Nothing really to bother you
Maybe a RIO to talk to
I mean yeah probably
But driving a plane is always gonna be rather stressful as you gotta check relatively constantly
Really? Damn, sorry to hear that
Beautiful photos man, fantastic
thanks
still haven't decided if i want the erusean or aurelian emblem on my Sniper
Osea looks a bit stupid, too much blue and white
Leasath doesn't suit it
I haven't unlocked the Emmerian emblems yet
I think i'll mod them in cuz I don't want to grind multiplayer for it
This is so cool, seeing these side by side
czech f-16?
Dutch
That's really cool
What if they're actually AC-130s
Naaaaaah lol
Hehe, it's amazing how big the Flankers are
Courtesy of ARR Group, Facebook.com. Captain Gh. Gheorghiu, the leader of the flight, on board aircraft serial 363 together with his wingman, Lt. Bores Constantin on board aircraft serial 319 reached 5400 meters, from where they began a shallow dive towards Yugoslavia. The two fighters landed on a field, #319 suffering a right main gear collapse...
Posting this here so i don't forget about it
That's pretty incredible
Now that's a money shot right there
siiiick
The Hornet was built based on the F-5
And the Super hornet based on the hornet
this is kinda like a grand family photo
The Fulcrum is a smoker no doubt
That's so cool, never knew F-14s and MiGs did formation flights outside of Iran
Really? That's unexpected
Imagine this
You sit in a Mig-21 cockpit
Cold-war era
green inside, worn-out
You're climbing
all around you you can see the steam trails left by other MiG's climbing on afterburner
It's all shaking as you climb higher and higher
the skies are mostly clear
The radio plays patriotic music, sometimes interrupted by the update on the heading of the target
After a while, you see it
Hordes of bombers
too many to count
RWR goes wild
Missile alerts everywhere
An AIM-7 misses your plane by a few meters
An F-15 flies just past your cockpit
It begins
Christ almighty, you just described the beginning of an Ace Combat game
That's perhaps true, its a bit less intense in a game as a whole
AC first mission is always you taking off and intercepting like 4 bombers flying alone and some F-4's
No no no, not the actual first missions
But rather the whole opening of the wars
Like AC5 where in the cutscene before the first mission you see how the squadron of your side suddenly gets into contact of war
Or how in the cutsvenes of AC7 we see Osean carrier group attacking Farbanti and Erusea defending agasint them
That's super cool
that's quite cool actually
That is an unusual paintjob, i had never seen that
Hehe, the Amercians are indeed pretty stuck on the whole Air Superiority grey color scheme
Whcih in fairness I understand the application for, but it's one thing to favor application in a plane's appearance, and another thing to make it memorable
The Japanese always go balls to the walls when it comes to making paintjobs for their celebetory F-15s, F-2s and F-4s even
They look excellent indeed. Even their normal military attires are more stylish than anything else
Goddamn that's incredible, they look so perfect together, that's all I need in my life
need to take some screenshots with this skin too
That's be ecen better
Chrome is an oddly good looking color on these planes
This has to be among their strangest camos
Yeah it's quite weird that they're still using a retired plane
Wonder what for
Mostly aggressor work i believe
Really? How so?
i read something like that on twitter
they just act as enemies for training
helps that they're stealth
Maaan, these are so cool
They look great together and witn yhe same roundels
This livery looks really cool on this plane
Indeed
The Rafale is a beauty of a plane
Hehe, that's one way to sell it
Pretty cool ad
Isnt this the no gun model?
Yeah it seems to be the no gun model
Bad idea to not have a gun
And history repeats itself
The F-35B and C don't have a gun
it doens't really matter much anyway
Since the most successful Phantoms in Vietnam, being the Navy Phantoms, scored more kills without any need for gun, mainly thanks to their Top Gun program
Always a beautiful sight
KFC but with autism
That's impressive, espiecally given the fact that much like Eagle, rhis plane has never been shot down in a combat scenario
Looks so goood!
beautiful photos
ty
unpainted F-16D Block 70
Man unpainted planes always look strange
Russia sure is losing alkt of planes
Whoa, I've never seen a disguise this effective, that's crazh
Really nice
Strigon planes always look very cool
Yeah
I wish they were more important in game though
Because i struggle to take them seriously
Since everytime they appear they get their teeth kicked in
To be fair thanks to the unfair enemy AI they are at least a challenge to fight
Not really
Just toggle AI attack
Or friendly attack i mean
Aces are more challenging
Just took down Feniks
Was a huge pain to get him to spawn
Restarted the mission 4-5 times
Yeah that's cheating
I mean as in taking them down youurself
Yesh I've heard
Ukraine destroyed another Su-34 and Su-35S today
And i think another Su-34 yesterday
Flankers are getting rekt
whats ukraine using
In this case it must be patriots
yeah or other anti air weaponry
Given I doubt any of their planes have the ability to fight Russian planes
I't sreally cool this game, and I always love carieer landings and take offs
Also just realized this plane in AC universe has a Russian flag on it
It doesn't
I thought so too
Upper band is yellow not white
Yellow/black/red or Yellow/blue/red
Ahhh
My bad then, it looks incredibly close
Yeah
B2 +b52
Hey look i'm not the only posting here
Sorry..
RTX ON
VS
RTX OFF
It must be so hard to arially refuel that plane
For one, it's hard for it to go slow
For two, it's got very poor visibility
B-1B in the climate lab
It's a terrifying sight from this angle
Climate labs give some interesting pics
Such a weird planr
I know what it is
No it isn't
The back door can be opened mid air
Not the front one as far as I know
I don’t think that would he physically possible no
B2 but smol
And cheaper
If the rear is possible
Then it's possible to drop tanks from the sky
They do airdrops with tanks and other vehicles sometimes yes
Although flying low to the ground
But humvee’s and stuff were dropped from pretty high hp
@rose gale is it just me or does the SU-30SM2 with its cannards remind you of a track version of a supercar?
Like a Pista or a GT2 RS
Aggressive but functional styling
It certainly looks cooler
how about this one then
Yeah they do it sometims
The Burket is very very cool
Hehe, to be fair, they are both called Canards afterall, yoiur judgment isn't even misplaced
The what
That's its name
Rarely does Russia give its fighter jets nicknames, but Sukhoi called the Su-47 "Burket"
Berkut
It wasn't ever a plane meant for mass production, but NATO callsign was given too "Firkin"
Oh.. sorry then
Close ;)
беркут
You know Russian?
That's more SR-71s in one place than I've ever sern
a bit
impressive
that awacs loss was a big one
wait, there was a second one lost too?
Yeah one was lost a month ago or so
most likely just for transport
crane
I guess so
Closest thing I've seen is the Hercules carrier trials
Which were successful iirc
Yes a C130 can take off and land from a carrier
The C-130 Hercules holds the record for the largest and heaviest aircraft to land on an aircraft carrier. In October and November 1963, a USMC KC-130F (BuNo 149798), bailed to the US Naval Air Test Center, made 21 unarrested landings and take-offs on the USS Forrestal at a number of different weights. The pilot, LT (later RADM) James Flatley III...
I know the Hercules had doen it
and I am sure the B-52 didn't acgtually land on the carrier
But rather has just been placed there for transportation
Now these are lovely
But where on earth did the idea for Belge Flankers come from
b-52 is a bit bigger and heavier then the c-130
stopping a 34 thousand tonne plane on an aircraft carrier is one thing, but landing a plane more then twice its weight
wonder what would happen if you tried landing a C5 galaxy on it
obviously would not be possible, but still
which still got put the shame next to the AN225
It's alot bugger
Surprisingly not that much smaller
But I guess the C5 got the last laugh anyway
Given that it is still alive, while the latter ain't
Really? You've seen the AN-225 in real life? Man I genuinely should kill myself
There's not a damn thing you've not seen or been in before
it was a cargo plane used for quite some years so it was not that hard to see it
Yeah it definitely was difficult to see
You only see it when you work in areas that involve moving cargos
Someone made a profile
Then ac modder saw it and said why not
There's also japanese su-33 and mig-29 skins as well
Really? Well damn
I quite like skins with such fictional ideas
They always can be made so interesting
That'd be cool to see frankly
Really? Then it's possible they'll come for AC as well
I like the Su-33, the others are meh
Too soft
wdym?
The Su-30?
Yes
thought you were talking about the camouflage
I like all flankers
except the Su-34
My favourite would be the Su-37 Terminator i think
because of Ace Combat X
unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore
That looks really good
Yeah it is a shame really about the accident
But at least the palne fulfilled its purpose very well
it gave its walk so the Su-35 and Su-30SM could run
I prefer the SM
Like I said it looks like 911 Carrera to GT2 RS @mental lantern
Yeah you're right, one looks alot more intimdating and dangerous
the Su-35 is the better plane of the two when it comes to Arial dominance
But the Su-30SM is the better overall package
and of course, all of the Su-30SM's variants
Pretty sure the only visual difference between a Su-37 and Su-30SM is the smaller cockpit on the Su-37
Since it's a single seater
There are other differences I am sure
but yeah, the main difference is that one is a 2 seater the other is a single seat
The canards are difficult too
Plane spotters came from many places just to see it at an airport
Talked to people who drove 6 hours to see it
hmm.. That's a fair point..
I drove maybe 40 minutes to see it, but it was cool
Was it bigger in person?
Often times things look bigger in person, is what I meant
Ukraine has allegedly shot down another two Su-34's today
At this rate the Fullback will soon be extinct
That's always quite a sight
Another Su-34 bites the dust
They keep dying
I feel like Ukraine may be making some of these kills up
They hardly have any anti air left, how are they killing Su-34s left and right
They got patriot's from germany
As well as other sam sites
S-200's
And a lot of manpads
Yeah but I thought they said that had ran out of them
i think they're struggling more with artillery
Hmm, fair
Flankers intercepted over the Baltic by French Mirages
That's alot of losses
Was rhis recent?
Does France still use Mirages?
Damn
That's interesting
I never thought Russia would go there to cause problems for France
Baltic incursions are a common thing for Russian aircraft
NATO aircraft stationned around it often scramble to intercept
This time it happened to be France's round
Fair enough
Guess nothing good was playing on the TV that day
During 1963, a KC-130F aircraft made history by landing and taking off from the aircraft carrier; USS Forrestal (CVA-59). The crew successfully negotiated 29 touch-and-go landings, 21 unarrested full-stop landings, and 21 unassisted takeoffs at gross weights of 85,000 pounds up to 121,000 pounds.
Lockheed's only modifications to the original pl...
a record from 1963 that is still unbeaten
This thing is such a strange plane
The stuff people have done with it
The feats it has managed
Honrstly hard to believe the C-130 is a real plane
Just a good design
The DC-3 is from the 1930's and it's still going strong
in modernized form too
Another 2 Su-34's allegedly shot down today
Aren't they rebuilding the AN225 tho
In the skies over Romania
Some of these images look so good I am not sure if they are real life photos or paintings
operation desert storm
Sorry
Romania low key cool as hell
Bomber time
That's a very interesting design for a bomber, don't think I had ever seen it before
Avro Lancaster
I had never seen it before, quite a looker
Makes sense then
That chrome livery looks always rather interesting indeed hehe
These look really good, I like alot
Nice
The ability to choose your wingman's plane and his skin is so useful
Indeed, it's very useful for photos
this Tornado mod is very high quality
There's only so many times I can say your pictures look good without it sounding like I'm a tape on repeat
Great work
ty
nice
Impressive high jacking
Not too hard to shut down a drone tbf
Just point a focused emp device at it
There's no such thing
They use emp devices to bring down the drones
Electronic warfare doenst mean emp
They shut them down causing them to crash land
Again, its not that simple
You don't just shoot an Emp shot at a device mid air and shut it down
Electronic warfare means constantly causing jamming within radio wavelengths to try and mask and or expose a signal
They high jack that signal and cut its command from its source hence it loses directions and receives no commands and crashes
No one ever high jacks a drone unless they have the exact means
Otherwise they'd simply shoot it down
Lol, just seen this on an Iranian page, r these actually Iranian planes lmao @mental lantern
@fallow drift you able to ID these as Iranian?
Yes
Noice
What planes r they
F-4
Also now I want a Comanche lol
I would have thought being a russian backed country they'd be using MiGs or something lol
They definitely are iranian
F-4 phantoms
Nice
The first ship they showed was also the relatively recent Iranian landing ship
How come they're using US planes as a Russian backed country lol
Because the revolution happened only like 40-50 years ago
Before that, Iran was in US' back pocket
Ah
Hence Iran had alot of American equipment
F-4s, F-5s, F-14s, were Iran's main equipment
Do they use MiGs as well now they're backed by Russia tho? Or do they still only use American stuff
British Chieftain MBTs for their tanks
They do now yes
Iran has MiG-29s and Su-22s
Nice
And has some Su-35s on order, whenever they'll arrive that is
They were an ally of the USA until the revolution in the 70's
Hence why Iran has so many F-5, F-4's and the only operational F-14's
I love it when countries have a mix of eastern and western equipment
Yeah it really is cool
You can look at Indonesian air force too, they got some sick stuff
I will say, may be because of national bias, but the F-14 looks best in Iranian attire
I agree
US paintschemes are often boring
Persian cat = best tomcat
I do quite like the white-ish one from Top Gun Maverick though 😳
hehe, thank you thamk uou
I liek that one alot too frankly
it's simple, but quite nice
Yeah when everything is Air Superiority Grey it gets boring
It's a lovely look no doubt
So much so I actually made a skin on ACX for it
I based mine on the model kit TGM Tomcat
@mental lantern @fallow drift another one lol
Keeps popping up all over my fyp since I saw that bloody Iran thinking of attacking Israel thing lol
Based
Phantom looks cool but realistically it would get clapped into oblivion by an F-15
F-15I, F-16I and F-35I
Ah
F-22 is US exclusive
Looks like a 3d render at some points
Apache pilots do tend to do this stuff tho sometimes lol
They love showing off
Looks real imo
horrible music edit, but great videos
Glad they're allowed to record these
Surely flying while on your phone is dangerous lol
Xbox 360 game
The person recording is the backseat co-pilot
Ah
Radio Intercept Operator, or RIO
These older two seater planes like F-14 and F-4 needed them due to how complicated their radars were
So the pilot could focus on the weapons systems and flying while the back seater would manage the radar
Nowadays modern planes instead have WSOs
Weapons Systems operators
Mainly intended for training and less experienced pilots so they can focus more on flying than also having to work on the weapons espiecally the air to ground ordinants
Never a dull moment with your photos
those are official screenshots published by Bandai in 2007
there is a watermark
those are mine, everything under not
ty
Oh man, these look so perfect
Feels weird seeing you with a different pfp
Hehe, I agree it certainly is a bit off putting after me not having changed pfp for so long
@mental lantern
Man this is pretty damn Ibcredible
Such a meme, but so oddly fitting too seeing these planes with these liveries, dont even look that out of place lol
Haha, underground most wanted
carbon
Oh right right
Damn a Beaufighter
RAF Museum London
Surprisingly they had a few Nazi planes on display lol
@vestal hull you like planes right?
I was there
they're very rare
cool to see them
i love german birds
Is nice
that Night fighter Bf-110G is one of the coolest displays
Post war they either defaced or destroyed most of them
Which is why they are such a rare find
It's always post war emotions
Same with Z vehicles from Ukraine war
Most will be junked or defaced after
And decades from now they will be rare historical display
Of course
but also mentalities were different back then
