Like as FH6 is releasing they'll go "Oh yeah, for one final update for FH5 we're adding Crosssave for PS5, so all you veterans who wanna play natively on the PS5 can do so."

No. There's no point for Sony to bring any games to Xbox. PC, sure. But I think the last count was the PS5 and Switch were outselling the Series X/S 5:1. So...finacially, it makes no sense. Also, Remember that Sony and Nintendo are Japanese companies and the Xbox has NEVER been popular in Japan, even when MS parternered with SquareEnix and other to bring more JRPGs to the console, it just...NEVER caught on.
What MS is doing makes far more sense. It gets them more money. If Sony were to say port GT7 to Xbox, I think it'd actually cost them more to make the port, than they'd get from the sales of the Xbox version.
