Vol. 2 is good if they didn't take some of the vol. 1 race playlists away
Vol. 3 is very mixed (Drift playlists are good addition but insufficient amount while the other new addition is horrendous)
Vol .4 content wise nothing special (A forced rental playlist and gaunlets which is sth that i don't like just happy it's separated from normal race playlists) but they did unintentionally fix sth
Vol. 5... good new cars (M2 and Buick)... nth more lol

NFS Unbound 1 Year Anniversary

Today officially marks one year since the worldwide release of Need for Speed Unbound!

Plenty to be said about this game. Its wild Driving Effects, art style, and soundtrack are certainly up there in the discussion list, alongside the story mode, handling, and Multiplayer, where, for the first time since Most Wanted (2012), the progression is completely separate from Singleplayer.

Post-launch content updates saw the release of a few brand-new vehicles to the franchise - the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, DeLorean DMC-12, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and BMW M2 Coupe (G87). The updates also saw cops making their way to Lakeshore Online, as well as the playgrounds of Linkups, Drift, and Gauntlet Playlists opening up a bevy of playstyles across the game.

There's no word yet on what's next, but we can assume Unbound will continue to receive updates; from what's been previously mentioned to content creators, Volume 5 was the last update of the year, so there's probably more on the horizon.

• Added realistic driving effects tag - "Original"
• Added sorting for All My Rides
• Added Open Playlists

Yo! So, I know we said the Volume 5 update was our final one for the year, and honestly, it is in terms of full updates.
What’s this then you ask?! Merely a few much asked-for additions from the NFS Unbound community.

We're working in a slightly different way now, looking at improving Unbound by adding new features and enhancing existing ones.
Going forward, we want to try out some things with you all and see what you think.

Invisible cops that spawn in your face, checkpoints that register slowed than 2015s, and again the literal WORST alldrive of all time

It has some qol features Unbound doesn't but that isn't enough to win me over, Unbound is just better in every other way

Heat wasn't the "best nfs in a long time" I still think 2015 took that title, and Unbound blows both out of the water anyways

That's why most of Unbound's music plays everywhere instead of certain sections

Heat spread it's music to certain scenarios

so you'd have like 5-10 songs for each one

ig people complained so Criterion saw that and just put most music in most scenarios

I think every other NFS that spreads music except Carbon did it the better than Heat
