Something that surprised me alot with the mods available for the game was the lack of Horsebrand mods
The only reason horsebrand wasn't in the game back then was because temporarily MS had exclusive right to the brand
So the fact that the modders aren't using the opportunity to add the cars is rather bizarre to me, bar one TDF

I logged onto my Xbox a few minutes ago and logged into Unbound and got met with a "Currupted Save File" message and then the game reset my entire profile for both Single player and Multi-player profile, but my SpeedPass progression still shows me at Speed Pass level 57

I have it figured out

best way to experience 2015 is to go in expecting nothing from classic NFS, have low expectations

best way to experience Payback is to mod speed cards so you don't have to waste time gambling

best way to experience Heat is to glitch/hack money and just do night runs on occasion

best way to experience Unbound is to mod in hidden/premium stuff and play LSO

2015 is the buggiest, but it's not bad if your expectations aren't unrealistic. Think about how fucked Underground, ProStreet and Rivals are going into 2015 and you'll be fine. Biggest problem is it's online only.

Payback is probably the most polished but the story derails SO hard and spins off into something way out there for Need for Speed. From a simple payback story like MW or Unbound except now you're going after a bigger entity because the writers ran out of ideas. The upgrade system and premium auxiliaries are it's weakest link.

Heat gets boring fast and has nothing to offer. It does things better than Payback like the upgrade system and vanities (vanities not auxiliaries), but butcheres just about everything else. It's also closely second to 2015 in bugs. It's weakest link is its lack of content and multiplayer features.

Unbound is a close second best to Payback but the story is probably the worst of the four. It does almost everything Heat did (or didn't do) but better. It has the longest support of any mainline NFS besides No Limits but it suffers from the scummy corporation's practice of launching unfinished and adding this content later on to inflate lifetime. That is it's worst offense.

• In terms of fun, I say 2015 and Payback are the best, equally.

• In terms of story, Payback just beats 2015, Heat is a close third but is too short.

• In terms of multiplayer, 2015 (though dead now) and Unbound are probably the least annoying and most fun.

• In terms of customization, the older the worse and the newer the better.

• In terms of handling, Payback for drift and Unbound for grip.

• In terms of pursuits, Unbound with Gauntlets (though they need to be more tactical) or Payback (but they should have been normally triggered in free roam).

• In terms of atmosphere, 2015 and Heat (night) tie.

• In terms of soundtrack, 2015 takes the cake.

• In terms of best characters? Personally Rydel carries all of NFS' characters.

Where you can challenge the crew highest earning crew member with your own to a race

One of the few NFS games that actually gets a full on sequal and continuation

Man, what I want is to see Shift 1 and 2 servers back up

UG2 was revived actually

UG1 has been revived for yeeeaaars

But frankly I'd like a new Shift game made by fans.

Takes the assets from both games, puts them.together, adds the gameplay refinement from Shift 2 and the visual presentation from Shift 1.

And boom, the perfect Shift title.

Like obviously you have your random racers which use the basic preset liveries and everything

but this is an ACTUAL in-universe character

Hell, some of the characters from Prostreet, namely the kings, appeared in shift psp
With faces too

but alot of them are just whatever, unimportant

Kiyo though, he has his own unique livery and his name is red.

He's actually the fastest car in the race as well which is ungodly rare for NFS
