"lacklustre" and "too grindy" as if that was anything new

NFS always had the same flaws constantly and is still loved regardless, because they continue to stay fun and unique

even if Unbound is a reworked 2015/Heat it's still unique to the series in plenty of ways

The last 3 games made it seem like there would be more story-wise

but Payback received tremendous amounts of backlash so they didn't do it, Heat was shortlived thanks to Ghost being killed off as it released, but Unbound has a long stretch of road and nothing is stopping it

They've made a ton of questionable decisions but they can redeem, there' is a shitton of room to improve and redeem the NFS franchise

Being a die-hard NFS fan from childhood, and considering Criterion the best devs in the franchise as they made the most fun games imo, I have faith in them, especially since it's Ghost but was bigger and clearly better
