#Question to CAMUFLAJ

This isn’t a Q&A channel btw guys
i lowkey just saw other people doing it
Yeah, and they are all terrible questions that could be answered if they just watch the Q&A videos.
this one isn’t tho right, i don’t think they mentioned it
No, I wasn't referring to your question. But Batman does not kill nor does he use a gun. So, that should answer your question.
i was referring to like wooden bats like they have in other arkham games
Oh, sorry I doubt it.
you’re good, i feel like that would be cool tho
yeah
I would genuinely love to see this as the free flow Vr system evolves if we get more Arkham Camouflaj entries
Though I think it breaking after one hit makes the most sense for some reason
Remember, the free flow combat system in VR is built around constantly alternating hands between hits, it wouldn’t make sense to do a 3 hit combo with one hand back and fourth, simply put that wouldn’t flow well with the free flow
Idk I feel like that would be overkill if Batman were to use weapons. Has he ever done that?
In the Arkhamverse? Yes
It’s one of the core additions in Arkham Knight
A+B (or circle plus cross) allows you to pick up one of the enemies melee weapons off the ground and do a 3 hit combo on any enemy guaranteeing a knockout before the weapon shatters
Remember there were 4 flatscreen Arkham games, each tried to up the ante again and again and top the previous
I would think a similar progression will happen here, and we can use the things added in later titles of the flatscreen games to infer what we could get in a sequel to Arkham Shadow if there were to be one
That said, I think if they were to adapt using bats from off the ground, it’d be a single strike’s worth of durability instead of three just for the reason I already specified
Do you think with the free flow combat in vr they could add slash marks. So you have to swing the bat in that certain direction with your hand? And then they could just add variety to that?
it would also be a dope finisher
I mean potentially but I think it’d be better if it was simply a “swing however way you which” just as long as you’re swinging at someone you automatically lunge at the target and you break it over them and it’d act as one instant KO, anything beyond that would maybe be a bit too much more just one of many new mechanics I would hope gets implemented
I have a personal little bulletpoint list of things I’d want to be added in which I go in-depth to how these mechanics can translate to VR and what concessions can be made to get them to work
I think I’ll post it sometime after Arkham Shadow launches because for all I know half of this stuff could already be in the game but I simply haven’t seen it
Remember, all I’ve seen is the first gameplay reveal trailer
I see how that would work. I think if you did have a bat in one hand then to get to another enemy you would punch with your free hand. We’ve already seen this kind of implemented into the recent footage. But I won’t spoil that for you.
