Can't play official servers it only launches vanilla bf2 | KYBER: STAR WARS Battlefront II | Page 1

Only encounterd this on sum servers but I was able to play for the most part but now whenever I join a server it will launch the bf2 vanilla with 4 characters locked.

Try making the following folders exclusions in your anti-virus:

C:\Program Files (x86)\KYBER Launcher

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ArmchairDevelopers

To do so, go here in your Windows settings: Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Security -> Virus & Threat Protection -> Manage Settings -> Add or Remove Exclusions

Only one I haven’t is the hidden files but tbh not really good with pcs so probably something am doing wrong but idk if me being on a laptop has a impact on kyber

I followed the path to %appdata%\ArmchairDevelopers and only found a cache file in KYBERLauncher, I deleted that but it didn’t fix the issue. Should I delete the Kyber and KYBERLauncher folders completely or is there something else I should try?

You need to search a folder, not a file. Make sure to select folder

Well I was using chat gpt to help and had said to delete it as it’s just a cache folder but if I’ve done that wrong will that affect it a lot as I said not to good with all the files and that

Chat gpt doesn't know anything about that, but it's not a problem, you'll just have to reinstall kyber correclty if you have any issue.

i would say all severs and even when it dose work takes ages to load then says i have been kicked by kyber dose this when trying to join a server and when just trying to play against bots in my own server

Yeh will send it over just finished loading into a server without cosmetics and it’s loaded into vanilla
