unable to connect

I've gone through several trouble shooting steps and the only thing i can think of is that there is a problem with the pathing both kyber and the BF2 install are on a drive other than my C:

Is anyone else encountering issues with this?

Yeah I guess you need to know this eh...

The client starts up fine but I cant actually join any of the servers as the play button is greyed out and not something i can interact with

Do you have the mods?

Almost every server requires some mod

I hadnt downloaded them manually, no. I got info that said the most current version automatically downloaded them

They download when you try to join
In the screenshot, the Play Now button will be replaced by the Download Mods button if you don't have the required mods
