1 disable ipv6
2 exclude your kyber folders in windows settings
3 load it up if it don't work close
4 run kyber as administrator
5 open kyben and it should work fine

Olek isn't staff, I am. He is a playtester. As for using administrator mode, I would like to add that we don't recommend using KYBER in administrator mode, as it breaks some feature. However if it fixes issues like this for you then I suppose go ahead.

But if you're going to use administrator mode, if you encounter any other issues, you may want to try without administrator mode to see if that is the cause. One feature I know administrator mode breaks is drag and drop.

Uh well I seem to be having some combinations of issues with this

first it will tell me in the kyber launcher "error communicating with the server" and then ingame it will start loading then tell me you have been kicked but it will say "the server did not reply". Then othertimes I just get the issue but with a slightly different message.

This happens both on the official servers and the hvv server

The strange part is I did this solution at first then was able to play a whole day online, having the time of my life, then all the sudden I've been having this issue the past two days again

Well first I launch the game through kyber with the correct mod collection and it launches fine

If there was an EA problem I don't think I could get on the game?

Though I was able to play the official servers with battlefront plus the other day for a few matches now it won't work either

All though I didn't try some of the smaller servers since that would be other mods

Hmm, not sure the exact solution here but you could try making the following folders exclusions in your anti-virus:

C:\Program Files (x86)\KYBER Launcher

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ArmchairDevelopers

To do so, go here in your Windows settings: Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Security -> Virus & Threat Protection -> Manage Settings -> Add or Remove Exclusions

damn this is so sad for someone who has modded the shit out of the OG swbf2 and has played the 2017 one on pretty much every console, EA Play, and Steam, maxing out all characters and just wants to mod the 2017 one in a way to bring out all the old memories lol

You could try running the uninstaller named unins000.exe found in C:\Program Files (x86)\KYBER Launcher, and after that get an up-to-date installer from https://discord.com/channels/305338604316655616/1320163978273493042 and reinstall KYBER from it.

ah, I had moved the folder so it was a slightly different directory but I found: KYBER Launcher\unins000.exe

I'll launch it

And again, I was playing fine for a day before, and then this started happening abruptly

The official battlefront plus (which I played before) and the bf expanded hvv chaos server (I obviously had the correct collection setup and launched through kyber for each server before I tried to connect)

I can try some others but I'm not sure why they would work when these wouldn't and the other servers seem to need other mods

I'll download the co-op xl mod through kyber now to play on the co-op server and see
