Mod collections?

This might seem like a dumb question but, what is the "mods collections" for?
Because when I join a server, it basically installs all the mods I need for that server. Also before joining a server I can choose to use cosmetic mods, but the collections I made won't show up.
I have 2 collections, of BF expanded with BetterSabers and instant online improvements, and BF+ with BetterSabers and instant online improvements

You can't have gameplay mods in a cosmetic collection

but second of all, IOI is not compatible with BFE

And BFE already has IOI V5 inside of it

And 2nd use of mod collections is for server hosting
But after you delete the gameplay mods from the collection, you should be able to use it as a cosmetic collection

Hey bud I think there's a problem

Whenever I join a server with cosmetics enabled the game just launches into the main menu
