downloaded the repo, did the rust install for cargo nightly.
complaining of a resource image format being wrong ..
Personally have never utilized cargo for any packages before, but knowing that head devs are Here, figure they would know what should be listed for correct packages.

i have genuinely no idea what to do for this. i cant test anything at all since it wont even build right..
also seems ; that the blur background effects on the client GUI that are applied, is whats screwing up on resvg .. Circled on green. I'm completely blocked as it is. I've been waiting on this to be available publicly for a long ass time, and now I cant even Try it to see if I can utilize it instead of that godforsaken POS ea app. I despise that app down to my feet .. I've rarely played anything EA based since that app hardly works. so if anyone bothers looking here, please enlighten me on what could be done. maybe force-use a newer version of resvg, or correct what its complaining about

dont have toolchain installed i dont think- if its a separately installed element entirely and not something that gets tagged along with rust's sub-installs

You can check the version with rustup -V

uh that's the rustup version, not the toolchain and have you tried using rust nightly instead of stable?

it'll only let me use nightly mode, as its noting a feature flag thats utilized being only allowed in nightly/debug channel. blocks me from stable channel otherwise
what it throws when trying standard
protoc is added under sys path and registers to cmd but not ps for some reason.
still doesn't build without bickering of the GUI blur effect being formatted wrong.
changing install of rustup to 1.96.0-nightly (ec818fda3 2026-03-02) and shall try once more.
