Can't use offline mods w/ kyber instead of frosty?

So I can't get frosty to launch the game, and I want to use the instant action overhaul v2 mod. So I download the mod through kyber, load into the game through the host function on kyber and back out through the pause menu and play the intended mod. But it has some wonkiness. For example, if I play supremacy, when it goes to the ship boarding phase, the game closes. I think this may be the server closing, or maybe it's just my game crashing? Should I keep using this method through kyber or should I try to find the impossible fix for frosty?

As of now, I'm not. But it seems like I'm missing something. Is the only way to launch the game to play offline modes through Kyber is as I stated? Start a server -> quit the game in the pause menu -> play from main menu?

no, you can ply through the mods menu

but joining through the server list is reccomended

I am blind lol. Thank you! This helped. This also helped me narrow down that it's just a bug with the game crashing when the ship phase began with the mod on that particular map I was trying to do (geo). Thank you!!
