Your settings, star cards, loadouts etc are store at %USERPROFILE%\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings in ProfileOptions
I think the issue is caused by:
- Windows controlled folder access preventing the game from saving to Documents
or - Documents stored on OneDrive
If the game is unable to write to that locaton your settings are not saved.
How to manually allow SWBF2 through Windows 11 Security
If you didn't get the pop-up notification, follow these steps:
- Press Windows Key, type
Windows Security, and hit Enter. - Go to Virus & threat protection.
- Scroll down and click Manage ransomware protection.
- Click Allow an app through Controlled folder access (Click 'Yes' on the admin prompt).
- Click + Add an allowed app.
- Check Recently blocked apps first—if you see
starwarsbattlefrontii.exe, click the + button. - If not, click Browse all apps and find the
.exein your game's install folder.

Note: If you still don't see it, check Protection history in the Virus & threat protection menu. Look for "Folder access blocked," click Actions, and hit Allow on device.
