Can i (and how) play the normal version of BF2 on their servers if i have Kyber installed?

Still haven't installed Kyber and before i do i want to check if it will in any way stop me from playing vanilla BF2.

If hosting then just don’t put any mods on

Or you can just launch the game through steam and you'll be able to play fully vanilla
