The launcher won't work under wine
Even if you'd get it to open the link, maxima wouldn't be able to make any http requests iirc
This was supposed to have an image attached, I don't know why I can't see it anymore.
But mio has linux support no? Just not wine support ig.
Yeah, and Maxima got published recently, although it's still in a pre-pre-pre-alpha-quality state.

I tried using Maxima a couple weeks ago, and it seemed like there were some issues with the OAuth, at least for my desktop environment (Gnome). I might try it again some time.
Yo I just randomly saw you're using maxima. Did you manage tu run battlefront2 using it? Bc I can't get it

Hi I'm new here, was reading into this and saw this explanation for the mio in wine issue, I'll post here for anyone who is also interested in the issue https://notgull.net/device-afd/
so even switching to another rust library probably wouldn't work either, I don't know much about wine yet but maybe there is a way to get mio running in wine to fallback to native linux syscalls, I'm going to continue to look into it when I have time. Just thought I would post in case anyone has made any progress with this yet
Thx mate for your effort! Of one day you get result can you ping me pls 😄?
