@zinc laurel joining the US server for battlefront plus worked for me, but the EU one gave me issues, i don't why this is a thing.
it's a shame as i want to play on the EU server as that has many more players within it compared to the US one.

I forced the update in the settings and it made me sign into EA again, it's launched a load of tect and the game
