PS5 controller not working for kyber V2 (help needed)

i have enabled and used my controller on the unmodded battlefront II
and it works excellently however when i use it on the kyber version i have issues when looking around my character spins very quickly and its impossible to control it and when i move foward it minimizes the game but doesnt crash and also pops up with a steam overlay keyboard for some reason

Disable steam and/or ea overlays

steam overlay disabled for battlefront II and EA overlay disabled i have controller working fine on normal BF2 but playing kyber my solider when using the Right joystick will still spin stupidly fast and hitting buttons like X (jump) will open chat and jump hitting L1 (grenade or the left ability) will crouch and activate the left ability i even got rid of the keyboard but its still weird

go into control settings in game and tweak sensitivity and such

changed sensitivity and no matter how high or low it is it still spins violently and seems to move the camera in strange ways

keybinds dont work either for controller

just pc keybinds

I get that its not impossible to play with Mnk but im used to ps4 battlefront so

try using ds4 windows

Are you using a wire or Bluetooth?

The problem looks like is that steam overlay has to be turned off
