Cannot launch Kyber launcher

Upon downloading and installing the Kyber launcher, I cannot get the launcher to launch by double clicking the desktop icon or the directory application, unless I run as admin.

If I run as admin, the launcher shows up as a white window titled Kyber launcher, with no content (see image - pretty boring image).

I have uninstalled the launcher and reinstalled to different drives on my computer. I have redownloaded the launcher and tried again. There are no log files within \AppData\Roaming\ArmchairDevelopers\Kyber\Launcher.

I have also attempted to launch the launcher through the command prompt, as described here: https://discord.com/channels/305338604316655616/1320413819599847515

and unless I'm a goof - which I often am - running this command had no effect:

launching the launcher installer from cmd results in the same white screen.

Could you try repairing/installing the WebView2 Runtime?

Could try installing this version of the Launcher trying to launch it again? It probably will display a white screen again but this time it should create a log file

Oh huh weird. Something must be wrong with your Webview2 installation

My issue is resolved, the lanucher now appears ti be working

One of two things fixed it.. I'm not sure which:

1- in 'add or remove programs' I searched for 'webview' and repaired the installation. After this, the launcher still white screened

2- I then ran the webView2 runtime installer you linked above again, this time as admin. Now it went through an installation process, ulike before.

Now the launcher launches as expected. perhaps step 1 didnt matter, and all that was needed to get webView working was running the installer as admin

Wait somehow I got into Kyber

got the same issue ish, have tried previous solutions without luck, if i launch the game no window comes up and the launcher uses up to 90% of my disk and memory, if i double click the launcher again the white screen others described opens in a small window however when maximised it changes to a black screen
