MODS CAN'T DOWNLOAD WHEN TRYING TO JOIN A SERVER

UPDATE: I figured out my issue.

My issue was that I was clicking the ▶️ button and not the "PLAY NOW" option. For some reason, when you click on the ▶️ button, it says the mods are downloading but it's not. HOWEVER, if you click on the server you want to go in then click on "PLAY NOW" the mods will start downloading and you will start playing.
Minor issue, but it was quite annoying.

Indeed, but the thing is the button is grayed as if I can't click it. I'm gonna double check diskspace when I get home later. Read up a bit more from other posts

I don't think disk space would cause the play button to gray out

No. It's only disabled when you have a game instance open or when the server is full
