Final ATLA thoughts, after a shower: ||I'm glad I rewatched it, I think I want to do it again with the creator commentary a bit later. Don't think I needed to though, apparently I saw more of the series than I realized||

Well, I've seen Bucky before. But his arc was rather simple to follow

I don't know if it's because I used to play a lot of ps2 games which were severely lacking in the "context for the story" department at times, or if I'm able to just kinda accept whatever's going on with minimal context, but I always feel people put too much stock in "missing the context" for some of these things.
The people who make the movies know that this isn't titled, "The Sequel to X, Y, and Z: Part 1"
It's titled Thunderbolts*

KDH was fun in a theater! Our 1:30 showing was decently crowded though I thought more people would've been into singing- maybe that was yesterday's crowd (concessions clerk said there were 150 people in the lobby at one point) though lots of kids, ours included. It was her first movie in a theater and figured since she's seen it before, probably a safe intro. She made friends with the kid in front of us and they danced in the aisle for songs

There were some young adults next to us who were in cosplay with demon patterns and they were belting every song lol

The finale culminates so much tension, the agni kai is utterly stellar. The final fight, on a fighting standpoint, goes so hard. A friend got a hold of the first season on DVD so we get it with the original soundtrack. The licensing didn't hold up and on streaming much of the licensed music had to be replaced.

The Wire s1 ||perfect way to end this season. So many cool callbacks packed into this episode that I kept making faces every time I noticed one. Pretty bittersweet end to it. You see all the progress made over the season but Avon and Stringer bell essentially still got away with it. Loved the parallel scenes of Herc teaching the new recruits about how police work actually is and Poots teaching the new dealers how to deal and collect money.||

||Really hope next season builds on some of the dynamics the characters had in this season. One thing I really wanted to see more was just scenes of Bunk and McNulty just doing police work together. Think the show did it really well Herc and carver||

he can be a valuable member of a Justice League story, but it's just not the same vibe as a standalone Batman
