I have to say, Marvel's pulled into this bizarre dichotomy of having actors NDA'd to hell and back and layers of security for what the story is going to be, only to
A) Tell stories that end up being much more straightforward than that hullabaloo warrants, and
B) Going on to spoil the movie in ads anyway

At least Tom Holland is charming when he spioils the movie

I think I'd understand more if this were Game of Thrones but it simply is not

And it never has been. Nor do I think a significant spoiler has notably affected any of their movies' reception, to include the ones they put in the ads

I followed Marvel for many years because of the characters. The characters were interesting and well-written and just fun to be around. And that's the biggest thing they've lost. Slipping further and further into relying on their big dramatic action sequences that they started rendering VFX for before they even had a script.

That's why season 1 of Loki in particular made me loose any motivation to watch Marvel: ||The brazen plot holes and absurdity of the lore in that show would have been easily forgivable if they'd done something cool and interesting with Loki. Instead they basically forgot he had any previous characterization and just had Tom Hiddleston emote at a camera for 6 hours.||

Yeah, the problem with superhero crossover movies and shows like these is continuity lockout. If you haven't seen most or all of them, you're out of the know for some of them.

I think Thunderbolts* mostly relies on the expectation that you've seen Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Captain America; Brave New World.

However, I saw Thunderbolts* before I saw Brave New World, and I didn't feel too confused by going a little out of order. I think Brave New World isn't quite as much a needed prerequisite as like, Black Widow or TFatWS. Like it kind of is, but to a lesser extent.

Small aside, for Pokémon, when I was a kid I thought the move Fire Blast looked like the shape of a person. But what I learned later is that it actually was shaped that way because they based the move to look like the Kanji of fire.

Why am I bringing it up now randomly? It appears it goes even deeper because Avatar is using it as well, which I think uses Chinese writing?

It seems like the Japanese adopted some things from the Chinese, so it is even deeper again than what I thought.
