Any tips for Xbox ? Currently got a 8 hours into a run but I’m not far, full chitin, steel longbow, just running health and fat pots and thieving to get my gold up.

Finished the first dwemer temple thoroughly. Lockpicked the lvl35 door beyond and got stuck at the ghosts not sure how to kill them.

How do I get gold efficiently aside from thieving and forcing shops to buy at at high rates

you'd need enchanted/silver/quality arrows and melee weapons or magical attacks to damage ghosts
rel forcing high rates, fwiw maxing disposition helps prices a lot, bribing helps here
could look into soultrapping, you'd need to buy or obtain soul gems and a reliable way to apply the soultrap effect tho.
or quests, off the top of my head in balmora there's visiting the blades trainers for gifts and that murder misc you can start from rumors. then there's smuggler caves or diving for pearls
could also obtain a few high-end weapon/armor/artifacts somehow and be set for a long time. those can have prices so busted to the point there might be no merchant in-game who could buy full-price given their limited max gold. you could always beeline for a guaranteed one if you have foreknowledge of where it is / which quest rewards them (spoilers, basically). also dremora and saints (in daedric shrines, some tombs, or roaming grazelands) drop them, but they're leveled so they might only spawn once your char is above a certain level.
and selling potions you make yourself is just broken with mid alchemy skill and higher quality equipment

Not familiar with acronyms, where should I go diving, once I found out there were underwater caves in this I realized there’s levels to this shit, I need to level up so I can get my luck and strength up presuming that’s what allows me to hit monsters more frequently.

What merchant can I go to for the best yield rates. I’ve noticed on Xbox maybe it’s universal. I can force sell items like 40 gold higher in some circumstances it will kill my reputation but if I close the window and reopen my rep resets so I just continue to do that.

I need to watch a video on the alchemy, I know it’s a huge part and I don’t even know how to use the probes yet.

At this moment I’ve did the dwemer puzzle box quest. Talked to caius went to the mages guild and started collecting mushrooms. I completed that water dungeon in the swamp area with the two orcs guarding a shrine. I don’t know if there’s more to the underwater passage though all I could tell is that it led me back to the start of the dungeon

rel = relative to, fwiw = for what it's worth, misc = miscellaneous quest (not faction locked), saint = golden saint

first i'm not sure how many spoilers you want, i feel morrowind is one of those games where exploring and figuring it out the first time is a good amount of the fun

for pearls i usually dive off the coast around seyda neen and the large lake north of pelagiad, haven't checked out grottos much

best yield rates without mercantile training would be the two creature merchants, you get exactly full price with them without haggling and they have a good amount of gold, but they're harder to find and some consider them exploits (||creeper is in ghorak manor in caldera, mudcrab is in the islands east of vivec||).
otherwise for normal merchants, you want traders with low mercantile at max disposition with disposition usually being more important, uesp has a list of those. the balmora merchants wayn and nalcarya are good enough ime, and ajira's disposition is particularly easy to raise if you're doing her quests
