Right?
Bios mode-uefi
Enable (Secure Boot State: ON) .. Save Bois and Restart..
After installation of Linux Mint .. on your first Reboot you got this Error message ?
Nononono, its the “try out” version still
now you are booting fist time from LinuxMint USB ?
Yes
Yes it does
boot it in windows.. plug USB
The thing that happened is that i was trying to install it and there were some problems with it,i asked chat gpt and he told me to reboot the pc,boot to windows, and check some things. Everything was fine. Then i booted to mint and thats what happened
then open USB folder and show me picture.
still you have SECURE BOOT : OFF in your BIOS or you had changed it to ON ?
go in EFI Folder..
I changed it to off
rename file grubx64.efi into mmx64.efi .. and then reboot with USB
OH MY GOD FINALLY
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH
Anddddd,if its possible, can you also help me with the installation itself?
Pleaseeee
have you made FREE SPACE in your Windows for Linux MINT installation ?
Unplug USB .. Reboot.. and show me Disk Management in your Windows OS..
Press Enter key on first Line which is blue..
yes it includes try out verison .. just press ENTER key it will show you Linux MINT Desktop for testing it before installating it.
First Line "Start LinuxMint 22.3 Cinnamon 64bit" it will start to show you Linux Mint Desktop..
Yeah ik,but after that, how do i install linux mint that is not “try out”
.
at top left you will see CD icon " INSTALL Linux MInt" when you will open it, it will start Installation and further steps in it..
And it automatically makes a dual boot thingie?
yes, By Default you will go with CONTINUE bottom button during installation .. and be-sure that you will choose thsi first option during installation that is important..
Huh?
why you are getting follow Ubuntu document.. ?
you will have first turn off BITLOCKER in Windows..
I guess it was turned off?….
go in Control Panel > Manage BitLocker > Turn Off Bitlocker..
It was like this
show me Disk management
in your windows search bar type : cmd and right click on "command prompt" and Run As an administrator
then type in hit Enter key :
manage-bde -off C:
manage-bde -off D:
Done
why did you made FAT32 to LinuxMint Partition.. ?
righ click on LINUX Mint parition in Disk Manamgent and show me pic..
select LINUX MINT E: drive and right click on it and Delete it..
it should be UN-ALLOCATED..
To Linux?
yes..
install it
restart it
Bruh
its size is TB so it takes little bit time to turning off bitlocker
again show me disk management
it will pick automatically that UnAllocated Space of Disk.. which you have already been created..
click Continue
Yes
DONE
FINALLY
Wait a sec
YES
IT WORKS
I was checking the dual boot
