Microphone not working on garuda

It's one of those mics that are just on the cord of my headphones like this

Was it okay on Windows?

it worked perfectly fine on windows, and before I switched to garuda I was using arch and it worked just fine there too

I've never used garuda, but try to see if it lets you set the audio settings from scratch in the system software
