could be some kind of audio driver garbage
I'm not sure though, I've never heard or ran into this problem
Let's sees some screenshots of pavucontrol (both Configuration and Output Devices tabs) and alsamixer
And always good to check layer one, they are plugged in all the way and there's nothing schmutzing up the port?
Advanced there probably just has a delay offset. Okay. How about the configuration tab
and for kicks, have you tried adjusting that speaker column in alsamixer?
and do you hear any indicator tones when you adjust the volume in the output devices tab? Are your applications individually turned down in the Playback tab?
k
a lot of options when i click profile
any bubble-pops or other sound when you adjust the volume in Output Devices?
when i turn the volume all the way up, yeah i can hear. but it's super distorted
These headphones worked on THIS laptop before?
yes!
