greetd.service Failed to start | Linux For All | Page 1

I looked at the greetd.service log and here's what I got

greetd.service: Start request repeated too quickly. greetd.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit' Failed to start greeter daemon.

as a result, i have to start sawy (my DE) from the TTY. no ssdm.

i have though. that's the thing. i cant get to ssdm. thats my problem

you can just use gdm or lightdm if it dont work

im trying to get gdm working, but i can't figure out how to switch from ssdm to gdm

just sudo systemctl disable greetd

#

and sudo systemctl enable gdm

#

it should work

alr i disabled greetd and enabled gdm

if it dont work press ctrl+alt+f2
