#Recommendations for privacy-preserving easy to use distro

Linux Mint
the only information most distros take is just preformence and to send data to devs if your PC crashes to help maybe fix it ALL OPTIONAL most of the time
so ye Linux Mint
but I think you'd find more support with Ubuntu LTS
but Mint is simpler, more user friendly and cinnamon is clean
Windows and MacOS*
Here the major Linux distro that won't spy on you.:
- Modified Deepin.

- Linux Mint.

Modified deepin 💀
Just install a normal distro
I'm already illegally install normal distro named "Kali Linux". 💀
Ubuntu I would trust less
Corpo backing
Lmde or debian or something
Why, I'm possibe to install Chromium in the proot distro version of Ubuntu. 🥲
Support for applications and ubuntu just takes system data for debugging not your personal
Sure, but canonical exists and has taken sponsorships from Amazon for example to display that search amazon button
Being that type of corporation
They're far more likely to have something to gain from selling your data
Than a community project
It would still be optional
Snaps are proprietary for example, which is already a privacy risk in of itself
You don't know that, and it may be opt out
Unfortunately more and more Deb packages just link to snaps now
The whole moto is freedom and getting away form corp
All I'm saying is Ubuntu is the most likely distro to enshittify and pull a Microsoft with data collection
Canonical is a massive corporation lol
If you want freedom from corpos install debian or arch
If you wanna use those sure but I'm here with ubuntu for the LTS
IBM-backed Red hat is even bigger than canonical
If they pull sum like that tho I'm Ballin arch
But they have less to gain from selling data as fedora is basically a test bench for all their server stuff
More ethical at least
Maybe, but you never know
Iv been thinkin about arch but ik I have to literally spend hours on the arch wiki and documentation to fix simple problems
This is true
I cannot be bothered with arch
Arch is simple if you want a half assed system lol
But if you want firewall, printing etc
Gets tedious
I like to enjoy linux not build it
I like to work with Linux to make Linux better
Not to work on Linux so it actually works in the first place
Yes!
Arch has its place
