On fresh install with Arch Linux + KDE Plasma, audio playing through bluetooth headphones cuts in and out/is spotty. As I installed KDE, I am using bluedevil, and both pipewire and pulseaudio are installed, although I'm not sure which is in use. I have tried multiple pairs of headphones, and confirmed that the problem is present on all of them. On other distros (I've tried Ubuntu) the problem is not present. I am on a laptop (Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 ProX [14ARH7]). The wifi/bt card is (acording to lspci) a Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device b852 using the rtw89_8852be driver (provided by rtw89-dkms-git).

Any ideas as to whats going on? Any help is welcome!

rtw89_8852be -- Is a WiFi Network driver, has nothing to do with Bluetooth. Realtek, to my knowledge, doesn't even do bluetooth. So what's providing your actual bluetooth device?

Okay. Well, that problematic, as that device has active current known issues.

And you're on Arch, so you're kinda SOL, until it's fixed upstream.
