No i tried disabling all extention but it didn't work, my version is ubuntu 23.04 lunar lobster
I tried usb tethering and ethernet nothing showing up
Is this always, including on a fresh boot?
Yes
Have you done anything that resulted in this issue to start?
I have updated ubuntu with gnome called software update,
Now if I am going back to old generic from grum it fixes
What should I do?
So a previous kernel works but current does not, is what you're saying?
Yes
Which one in that list, specifically is the "previous" one in that's working, and which one(s) do not work?
Which one(s) are new?
And is that one hilighted 5.9.0?
And also. What actual Distribution is this? One would assume Ubuntu, but that can show up as such in other Ubuntu-based distros too.
I have installed cpu Freq to get more battery life, i think it is Low latency
Oracle one don't detect wifi and all but low latency and generic one is running properly
I use ubuntu 23.04
OKay, sorry, you did say that 23.04. 🙂
So, I don't have a VM of Ubuntu available right now. But I'd be betting that you shouldn't be using the wierd kernels.
You would need to boot up, use a terminal, dpkg -l | grep kernel, find the ones installed that are not correct, specifically named oracle and possibly lowlatency, and remove them with apt.
