Bosses in general, solo-able?

I know bosses should be hard, because they're bosses... but for Runescape being the game it is, shouldn't most of them be actually solo able? Nex on normal... I die to them every time, or just quit early. That's with ranged, magic, and melee. I've not yet used necromancy on them being only T70, and I don't think it's needed. Again, runescape being the game it is, is it not enough to be top-ish tier in a single combat class, that you should be able to beat a boss like Nex a little easier than what they are?
On the same topic as Nex, the jump from barrows to nex, for from corrupted to ancient defender, or at least the drop to make it, is a bit extreme. Barrows is super easy. Nex is, well, not...
As for the defenders themselves, no one uses them because they are not BIS... so, why is the drop chance for the ancient patch so much rarer than it should be? :/

I would like to see Amascut Normal be reworked into a solo-able mode, but in general having group bosses is okay with me.

As much as it can be annoying to find groups for group bosses, I still think group bosses are good content to have in game

at the point we're at everything but Raids, AoD, and Amascut are pretty reasonably soloable, and even BM and AoD aren't that insane anymore. thats 2 out of the like 60 bosses

solo together is the best approach for content, and engagement numbers will show that

i both disagree in principle and in how the fight owuld actually have to look like solo

i think a player should be expected to find a team to do certain content in an mmo, esp with social systems like friends chats, clans and offical discord servers alike

and reworking the fight to work solo would make the nm encounter less interesting and also make the jump to enrage more daunting

also i do agree that boss progression and scaling can be very odd around the jump to t80

nex is very overtuned for only dropping t80 gear when gwd2 drops t85 and is still easier

esp with the loot system at nex weighing heavily in favour of people that can solo soloing

Don't take this the wrong way, but you just need to develop your skill. And learn her mechanics.

Nex solo was a boss I learned ages ago with a royal crossbow and void armor (invention didn't exist yet). So given the powercreep and sustain throughout the years, it should be entirely possible to learn it even earlier. You have to just keep trying
