#The Integrity Era Milestone

it's not about guilt-tripping anyone, it's just about celebrating a new chapter for the game. Many players are starting fresh because of these changes, and a simple cosmetic title to mark that start doesn't take anything away from older accounts.
That 'badge' existed before the new era, called Ironman Mode which to most people was a symbol of integrity.
Ironman mode is a different playstyle entirely. You shouldn't have to lock yourself out of the Grand Exchange or trading just to enjoy a game free of MTX influence. My point is about celebrating the new standard for the main game's economy and progression.
So a new account that would earn this proposed badge would be able to use these, as this is still MTX 🙂
Yeah this is a horrible idea.
It would just divide the community and ostracize the older playerbase.
It would absolutely be seen as a bade of shame.
It's just an optional cosmetic. I'm not trying to punish anyone I actually have an older account where I used MTX myself. This is just a suggestion to allow players who start fresh to show that their new journey belongs to this specific era. If you don't like the title, you just don't wear it. No need to make it more complicated.
The fact is, MTX in the game still exists as presented with Radiant Stars.
I for one wouldent even want it on my account. optinal or not
I’m honestly surprised that a simple, optional suggestion is being met with such defensiveness. It's just a cosmetic option for those who want it, not a personal attack on anyone's progress. It shouldn't be this complicated to propose a small community idea.
I think there's a bigger problem with reading the room regarding many players losing their Grandfathered Membership rates for supporting the game for a long time, even during the rough period.
Now newer players get a badge that older players can't ever get?
Im not surprised at all.
People dont want things that mark them as "lesser" for something they cant control
It’s a bit ironic to feel threatened by a 'new player' badge when you've had years of head start and exclusive items. Acknowledging a new era of the game doesn't take away your legacy. It’s just a cosmetic for a specific milestone, not a competition. But if a simple badge is this controversial, then I’ve said enough
feels like a bad halfway house to THE GREAT RESET
