What a lot of these suggestions tend to fall into are two camps: People who want to play the game and it be a meaningful experience and people who want to not play the game and just want to engage with endgame or have it easy. To give the players who do not wish to play the game, whatever their reasoning, why not offer them a character creation variation of the ironman that has max stats and gets their own untradable drops at a higher rate. All quests complete with option to replay. This way the Tinmen can just log in and do whatever while the rest of us play the game and their needs don't ruin various accolades for the rest of us by overtuning them to be too easy.
No more waiting on bosslogs, no more grinding stats, no more completing quests, and most importantly no more complaining that the main game is too hard or time consuming as if it isnt an mmorpg and entirely optional to do anyways.

Hard to see if this is serious or meant as joke. Eitherway this seems like something that has 0 chance of happening anyways

Its serious enough, but surely from a place of frustration that every complaint about this game is centered around actually playing it, so i offer an alternative that doesnt threaten the gameplay for anyone else and doesnt screw with the economy.

Except it would. Since people would just be able to make accounts that are maxed and have everything. So they don't participate with the economy which directly harms it

I expect supply of any boss drop is dominated by those who roll for it frequently

Most people that are in favor of or against blm have no idea about the impact it would have on the prices of items

What Joe said

If you manage it properly by removing the extreme cases of bad luck, it shouldn't create a large shift in the supply curve, which won't have a big impact on item value 🤷 that's basic econ

blm isnt the point of this post. You know i have issues with it and legitimately i wouldnt have a desire to keep playing if that were to hit the game, but what i see as a larger issue on a lot of fronts and why i posted this at all is that people want the game to spoon everything to them. Increasing already record xp rates on all levels, fighting for mtx xp, removing quest gated content and simplifying quests into oblivion, wanting to be able to do end game content with zero time investment, etc. its all trying to dodge playing the game. With that in mind, let them. everyone recognizes that 99s are too easy to get, hence the 110s and 120s, even those are too easy to get for the most part. Xp rates need slowing for game longevity but the people i'm talking about will definitely hate that and rather than alienate them I want to give them an option to keep playing the content they enjoy while skipping what they do not, which yeah that includes higher drop rates, but its not even the start of this problem.

While I don't agree with the initial binary set-up (that lacks serious nuance on the "rp" that modifies the "g" even if it pisses off, or on, the "mmo" 🙄), I still support this, even if I would never play as a "tinman" anymore than I would ever play as an "ironman," but one could argue that the old "treasure hunter" mtx approach was a much more profitable, game-sustaining approach to creating "tinmen" than this "tinman" mode would ever be, but I suppose the untradable drops stipulation is core difference that's key too 🤔

If this ever gets into the game (which I’m 99% sure will never happen) you will certainly need to prevent all methods of transferring items from a “Tinman” to a market account. No drop trading, no “PK yourself”, no “convert to main account”, nothing.

But even adding “Tinman” as an option would make the “Ezscape” stereotyping four thousand times worse, which will absolutely cause more harm than good.
