then go play oldschool if you love grinding that much xD
Just don't play runescape if you don't like how it works 🤷♂️

this just makes bankstanding skills even more afk, which is an issue with crafting, herblore etc. as it stands
more interesting and unique gameplay loops are good for the game
sweeping bad parts under the rug by making them more convinient is how the game ended up with shit like silverhawks and lamps from treasure hunter
just what we need, bots crashing gems even further XD
When you know you're addicted to proteans without saying you're addicted to proteans.
Absolutely support this; As a premier member who had their premier artefact removed (without proper compensation or alternatives provided), needing to carry around non-stackable signs of the porter to ensure I can transfer non-stackable supplies to my bank instead of clogging up my limited bag space is a real pain, so it makes perfect sense that we move towards making more items, like hides and gems, to be stackable now (and I would go as far as making any item stackable too, but willing to compromise to say all skilling materials/supplies should be stackable, especially archeology mats) 🤔
skilling materials being non-stackable is intentional balancing, euther requiring you to bank after a while or to bring support items that assist in extending trips (log/ore boxes, porters, beast of burdens, soil boxes, notepaper etc.)
if skilling supplies were to be stackable then all gathering skills would become instantly 15 minute afk, which would be disasterous for balancing and devalue associated items massivly
theres an item called the grace of the elves, holds 500 porter charges, 2000 when upgraded
As mentioned, Grace of the Elves allows 500 porter charges to be stacked into it (2,000 with the Dark facet enchantment)
Being able to spend hours without banking at a skilling spot is a luxury that comes with progression be it through Divination to make porters, Invention for "Imp Souled", Mining/Smithing for ore boxes or Woodcutting/Fletching for wood boxes or an Evil tree.
You can also take stackable (albeit untradeable) Memory Shards from Divination to make porters anywhere. I've found the best way to get them is the Sword of Edicts engram which lets you get them in massive quantities from Hunter.
