I mentioned on a Reddit post I have 1 pickaxe after receiving about 50 cannons and that it’s considered "generous". With the new mid level boss that drops dragon harpoons, please do something similar with the dragon pickaxe. Or I dunno, improve the drop rates for chaos giants?

It has never made sense that dragon pickaxes are more rare from the chaos giants considering the significant differences in relative difficulty, as well as the Giants are unlocked in a subsequent quest from the battlefield...
I think I'd change their drop rate to be like 1/1000 or so from the giants rather than 1/8k

I actually really like this idea lol. Gives value to actually completing the grandmaster quest.

Please make Chaos Giants drop it at like 1/1000 or better. Currently the rate is 1/10,000 which is worse than the Chaos Dwarf Battlefield despite being stronger monsters. Make it make sense!

honestly 1/1000 is even too much.
Look at how common the Dragon Hachet and Dragon Harpoon is.
yet The Dragon Harpoon is so far the most useless of the bunch.

I don’t think It would fit in with all the high end gear you get from croesus. I still feel like the best place to put it at is some mid-level combat/skilling boss. If anything they should add dark onyx core to croesus so people do it more lol

I agree we need dragon pickaxe alternative. Try to compare RSOS dragon pickaxe drop with RS3. Would existing bosses in both game, have RS3 one drops just OSRS? Like KBD for example.
