  • (NPC) League Quester:
Provides materials and teleport function to aid questers (As long as the player has the gathering levels for materials, they get them for free without xp gain though, if not they can be provided a teleport to a mob that drops it.), the NPC can be summoned from the Quest windows, which act as understanding which quest you are using.

  • Quest Window Function:
    • Skip function: At the cost of XP completion and League Points if completing them on their own, players can skip quests. When used, a window will pop up showing the cost.

Example: One Small Favor, Players will lose 2x 10k experience lamps.

• Teleport function:
Can teleport player at the start of the quest, as long as they have the requirements.

  • Fort Forinthry: Faster Production & Construction, at least as part of tier 2 or 3. While being able to pull and store in bank the materials from the Production stations.

  • Ironman Phantom Mode: Basically a way that League players with Clan can visit their clan Citadel to help cap it, without gaining XP.

If anyone wants to change or/and add ideas, add a comment.

And here.

I think there's a broad issue with quests in leagues and to my mind the suggestions probably go too far into making them irrelevant

#

questing should absolutely grant advantage in leagues

#

I think what I would personally do is make the ability to auto-complete any quest a relic; but make auto-completion grant xp

#

so you're forgoing another relic of X tier (which tier subject to balancing), but you're getting substantial advantages from every quest

Currently Quests already get the xp boost, even the lamps.

The idea of the skip function that I mentioned earlier, is for those that didn't want Quests to be skipped for the rewards, such as I.

Some Quests are tedious in getting certain materials… mostly because they aren't gathered normally (such as charcoal and papyrus) or they don't function from the toolbelt, which is why I suggested the League Quester.

I do think that the auto-complete shouldn't be a relic choice but a tier ability, as long as the usage cost is reasonable.

This way, the player can choose to skip certain quests forgoing xp, or choose to do said quest getting its already boosted xp.

(I didn't like One Small Favor, but I don't regret doing said quest to get 2x 10k xp that got 4x boosted)

yeah I just think that's far too heavily on the side of questing being a waste of time

The choice should always exist. Theres alot of players that dont mind the quests and like doing them for the xp rewards currently

Agreed

#

I was just thinking of another idea, but mostly because it's related to activities that requires multiple players.

League does pose an issue due that leaguers can't visit worlds that are dedicated to those activities, such as Shades of Mort'ton minigame

#

It was a nightmare to do alone.

#

But I need ideas to balance it out.

Yeah I got lucky with Shades in that another guy happened to be there at the same time, but like hell I’m going for 200 pyre logs for mory hard

I am not sure if it would be possible to implement…

In linking multiple servers into a section of the map of the main SoM's server creating Phantom NPCs based on players using the server, as well as connecting the shades NPC to all League Servers.

I think the main thing that's needed for that is just for leagues worlds to have designations

#

for the first couple weeks at least

urban river
#

Perhaps. It's basically one of the hard one that's hard to balance.

Shades of Mort'ton might need a suggestion by itself.

Seeing that it might be possible that it might end up empty at one point.

Have the Leagues drop boost increase the quantity of guaranteed “rare drops” (malevolent energy, ancient scales, etc.)

Shades of morton can just be soloed these days with the dummies and bracelets so not sure what exactly the issue is there?

urban river
#

Did that solo the other day... for some reason, I had like 20 shades at 1 dummy, which drained its hp drastically.

Soloing SoM isn't that difficult now days, we have so many benefits towards it that completing it has been like this for a bit now, primarily due to Ironman mode.

I don't feel its nessessary to attempt the phantom aspects for Ironman in Citadel or SoM

but you also got to think its more then just the XP;
Area Unlocks, feature Unlocks, and even Relic Points provided already make this more overpowered to be able to completely skip time to progress this; I think obtaining 100m XP instantly is beyond broken.

Invention I kinda understood; because imagine trying to do Invention legitimately within a time gated period while also attempting to obtain decent perks. 😂 yeah.

#

I am a strong advocate that if a Quest Relic is released though; we absolutely have no excuse to why ANY quest should be auto completed by default.

#

as I completely agree it needs to be a trade off from other powerful relics

#

I am also a firm believer that none of the combat relics met the mark of what should of been.
and realistically Combat Relics shouldn't of existed anyhow;
Tiers should of passive made your combat more powerful through each tier progression.

Personally I’d like it if next Leagues auto-completes all but the last one or two quests of each major line, so I can play through the epic finales again without having to slog through the early ones. “Bottle quests” that aren’t part of a quest line (like Stellar Born or Song from the Depths) should remain not completed.
