What do you mean swapping? Do you mean bonds only or items too? Because some items are far easier to obtain in one game vs the other (dragon claws are 100x cheaper on RS3, oak logs are 20x cheaper on OSRS, some items are tradable on one game but not the other)

It would fundamentally be a bad idea; OSRS has easy money makers, but it doesn't have anywhere close to RS3's level of afk money making (think invention machines) OSRS's is at least 40-50% bots, even if the botting problem were resolved you're giving a larger botting community a way into the RS3 economy, and you're giving the OSRS economy the hyperinflation experienced in RS3. So you would be fundamentally giving both games a major problem of the other.

The only upside is you would rid OSRS and RS3 of false positive ban sources through scalper third parties.

I wonder what would be the consequences if they just forced an exchange rate via GE or something. Like a swap button option and # gp = # gp.
