Here is my idea for a new "adventurer's rucksack" item that fills the cape slot and offers a large amount of QOL.
The initial idea is that this would be a reward from May's Quest Caravan upon reaching 500 quest points (so we've still got a number of quest releases to go).
The rucksack would inherit the stats and perks of the cape stored in the "Active Cape" slot in the backpack while equipped.
The rucksack would have a number of "adventuring tool" slots for various passive effect items that are typcially held in the inventory without any "active" interaction.
The rucksack would have a large number of "attached container" slots that serve the role of consolidating storage container/bag items into a single interface and item by storing them in the rucksack itself. This is done by right-clicking on the rucksack and selecting "Open Interface" so that a cape, tools, and containers can be added or removed from the rucksack at will. There would likely be a "Fill All" right click option to fill all contained bags with any qualifying items in the inventory, and an "Empty All" bank interface option that empties all resource containers (logs, nests, herbs, ores, gems) without emptying stone spirits, wood spirits, statue pieces, etc.
Some examples of passive adventuring tools included in the attached picture: holy wrench, expensive spices, etc.
Some examples of containers included in the attached picture: wood box, ore box, coal bag, gem bag, herb bag, statue bag, seed bag, clue bag, etc.
I've also included the examples of existing backpack models that inspiration could be drawn from for a sort of rucksack model that has various items attached to it for adventuring.
