I like this option more. Demonic skull is already tied with understanding you’ll be skulled and pvp is enabled.

This is a much better suggestion than "just enable PvP in the whole Wilderness but you keep items so it's just wasting other people's time"

#

Demonic Skull adds a relatively small risk compared to dropping your entire gear setup on death like in OSRS or older Wilderness.

#

PvP shouldn't be an "all-or-nothing" and it shouldn't be a primary money-maker even for the most skilled players. With the modern state of the game, PvP is a fun diversion at best.

#

There should be decent skilling benefits to carrying a skull for all Wilderness activities (50% more xp, improved drop tables, something like that), to give players an incentive to bring one for solo activities rather than only for PvP or Runecrafting.

#

OSRS Wilderness is terrifying, especially for Hardcore Ironmen, since you can only keep three/four items and can lose all your loot at any time. However, some of the best training and money methods in the game are in the Wilderness, so it's a vicious cycle of pushing your luck before banking.

#

RS3 isn't a game about risk/reward or toxic player-killing, it's a game about slowly growing your skills and your coin pouch as you work towards max cape and beyond.

#

Keeping items but dropping a few coins also lets players bring all their best gear and go all-out on both sides instead of bringing 1 or 2 valuable weapons and dragonhide armor.

#

I've had this idea for a while. Instead of wasting resources detecting macroing gear switches, Jagex should allow us to bind multiple action bar slots (such as a full melee setup) to one hotkey so that macro-users don't have an advantage over fair players. This would also encourage casual players to try gear swaps in PvM.

#

I have been very interested in safe PvP minigames in OSRS lately, so adding better PvP support in RS3 could have even more potential for skill while depending less on luck.

what revo bug? Is it specific to just PVP because I use revo for all of my combat and Ive never once had a problem with those abilities unless it was me cancelling them early

Another option would be to be able to toggle what stuff do I want to risk. Example, use the Demonic Skull to open an interface where I can toggle gear, inventory, both, none, or allow items to be stored in a special pouch that is used for "risk". You can add any tradable items or cash, then the victor would get the cash value in sellable items (no more cash injection please). PVP worlds had something similar, where a set of items would be dropped. Also, if something like a legendary items or a rare would be in the pouch, you'd get the item guaranteed.

This would then mark others with a system like was in original bounty hunter so others could distinguish targets based on what they risk.

1 is for sure. I'm tired of seeing reddit posts crying about being "griefed" in the wilderness... Like... How are you being griefed in the literal historical pvp area? Doesn't matter if it's dead content, you get pked there, oh well. Shouldn't of opt in pvp

But honestly, I really hate the bloat added to the wilderness with all the slayer monsters. it was a really dumb move that made achievement diary stuff next to mind bogglingly difficult. Wilderness Flash Mobs is also pointless and annoying. I just feel that jagex adds too much bloat to the wilderness and it's honestly annoying.

It's not toxic honestly, the players know the risk about wandering into the most dangerous place in the game

What's your reasoning behind removing the stealing creation mini game?

Compared to many other mini games it's one of the most popular ones and one that still sees constant active player engagement, notably through Fast Sc fc and such. I think this would be a huge mistake.

#

With that being said I do believe that keeping the wilderness as is, is better. The reasoning behind this is, as if we were to return to how it was before, or even if it were all a demonic skull pvp thing. It would serve as a place to lure people. That's just nonsense.

There are still avenues for fun and engaging pvp content and that be more in the lines of pvp competitions, tournaments, and such

I never said it was the most popular. I said it's one of the most popular. That's just how bad mini games have become. Yet games still run from time to time, unlike trouble brewing for example.

#

Doesn't seem you know a lot about mini games
