If you have a bunch of unfinished smithing items in the inventory make it so when you finish one the current heat you have carries over to the next one.

#

each item is heated when you make the unfinished, doesnt make sense to carry over heat on different items

restive chasm
#

Technically it's the same item just under another object

#

If making primal spikes and you finish then heat resets back to 0 would be much nicer if the current heat you have just xfers over then you can manually reset the heat when it drops

#

over time

--
When making X of an item the game already has you auto start the next item when the first one finishes but it resets heat each time which just makes no sense

faint bridge
#

are you starting them on the forge or anvil?

restive chasm
#

Anvil

faint bridge
#

start the items with the forge and they all start at 100% heat

#

the anvil doesnt heat the items

restive chasm
#

I know this

#

You have to reclick the forge every set of spikes though

#

to refill the heat

faint bridge
#

no you dont

restive chasm
#

When you heat them up at the forge then click the anvil and that set finishes

#

it auto starts the next batch with 0 heat

#

when you had heat remaining from last batch

#

That is what I am suggesting have heat move over to the next batch instead of resetting

faint bridge
#

maybe im not understanding you, but if you create the full inv of unfinished at forge they start at 100% heat

#

when you finish the item, the next one starts at 100%, not 0

restive chasm
#

Mine starts at 0

faint bridge
#

then you are not creating the unfinished at the forge

#

you need to start them at forge for all to be at 100% heat

#

so before you create any unfinished, click on the forge, and create the unfinished from there. by starting at anvil, it does not apply heat to any of the items

#

if you want me to show you what im talking about, i can stream it for you

restive chasm
#

Sec

#

Yeah still does not work

#

I clicked the forge - primal spikes - changed (x) amount - started working on them on the anvil

#

first one starts at full heat because it fully heats it

#

ones after that don't start at 100 heat

#

So idk what magic your doing but it simply does not work like that

faint bridge
#

idk, i looked at all the gear effects and dont see anything that would change it. i just allow it to heat at forge before i start at anvil

restive chasm
#

Mine does not let me heat more than on

#

one*

faint bridge
#

do you give it time for bar to update? because for one second it shows an empty bar when it starts a new one

#

but quickly fills

restive chasm
#

I click the forge - select item - change the (x) it gives me those unfinished objects and auto starts to heat the first one

#

and then does nothing to the others

faint bridge
restive chasm
#

reclicking the forge simply says its already heated

#

but the others are not just the firts one

#

You must have something I don't then

faint bridge
restive chasm
#

I don't have any of that

faint bridge
#

only thing that deals in heat is the autoheater but that only applies when you hit 0

#

when you use up heat on anvil it uses 50 coal to heat it to 60

restive chasm
#

I just suggesting that when you finish smithing an item the heat you still have from last one xfers over to the next

#

So if I finish an item with 50% heat it xfers over to the next

merry coral
#

smithing lvl and item what are you making?

Not suggesting anything to do with auto heat or how an item is heated

#

or how whats used to heat an item

#

or how many can be heated at once

#

Suggestion is so that heat carries onto the next item from the previous one

#

after finishing the first one
