  • A completionist (untrimmed or trimmed) player may complete an unlisted activity to open a time portal that allows them to travel to Tutorial Island as it was before it became canonically submerged.

  • The guild is similar to max guild, but instead of PvM/skilling portals, has a chillout bankstanding zone with a RuneLink table and a fashionscape podium

  • Combat Academy has an in-depth explanation of how combat abilities, adrenaline, stat-boosting potions, etc. work, where Vannaka explains to new players the difference between basic, threshold and ultimate abilities and how to unlock various codices throughout their journey before making them kill rats. He will then give a brief explanation of what slayer is and why it's useful. Vannaka will give the player a couple potions and extra food to start with, also explaining that most foods will lower their adrenaline.

After the player defeats normal rats, Scurrius, the Rat King, will approach and players will need to use lesser anticipation or some downgraded versions of defensive abilities to properly deal with its mechanics, with real-time explanations of how to do this. Should the player die, they will be resurrected with full HP (Healed by a mildly exasperated Vannaka)

  • Turael/Spria upgraded to level 30 combat master while Vannaka is changed to starter master given players from the tutorial have already met him and now associate him with beginner combat. This is so that Vannaka can invite the player to meet him in the overworld after completing the tutorial.

  • Better explanations of what the toolbelt is, how skills work, and how to find the Grand Exchange and use integrated wiki search

  • Completionists will be able to assist noobs in understanding the combat and skilling basics.

Where I like the concept and idea, the sad reality is a Completionist guild is more likely to become extremely toxic rather then helpful amongst newer players and should probably remain separated.

Everything else mentioned though; I absolutely agree should be implimented, and despretely needs to have a more improved training system rather then depending on players word of mouth teaching abilities.

Support with some caveats.

  1. I like the idea of a completionist guild, however, it should be on the second floor of the Max Guild instead of on tutorial island. We already have a max guild teleport there and a bank + GE and other utilities. I don't think tutorial island is the right place for this, nor should comp cape be a requirement to become a combat tutor.

  2. I separately like the idea of a Combat academy, but it should be built into a new room of War's Retreat, where players with 120+ combat can be paired with players <120 combat. Each player creates a one paragraph bio, stating their Boss KC and what they can teach, or new players talking about what they would like to learn about and their objectives.

  3. A Much more detailed PVM tutorial with more in-depth and niche recommendations and assistance should be built into an achievement pathway of War's Retreat, where War uses voiceover lines to properly explain how higher level PvM mechanics work, with the voicelines written in collaboration with high level PvM players (PVME et. al.), and each achievement involves killing a mini-boss using the techniques he just explained. This could work like a high level version of the Stronghold of Security, where War guides you down each floor in sequence.

Good ideas seperately, but as i'm sure you would guess, putting Comp players directly into a situation where they are handed new players to teach will not work in practice. It will unfortunately be relentlessly trolled on both sides by fake "new players" being bad on purpose for content, and with high level players deliberately giving bad advice and getting new players killed for content.

It should be double-opt-in and have a rating and review system to prevent this to as large an extent possible.

The last thing comp players want is to have to teach the game to new players while trying to hangout in their exclusive area. Some might want to, but it should be a seperate thing, and not be built into the Comp guild.

  1. I 100% agree with you, expeshly since they are trying to remove Comp from Combat which makes no sense to have someone who has no idea about combat teaching combat, it just leads to further issues.

  2. absolutely agree. perfect location is to the west in pvm hub. However I do feel that it should be combat level requirement, maybe have players who have obtained Reaper Crew capable to pair up to help teach, it shows experience, and capability to perform at every boss.

3.. absolutely love this.

Personally I don't think Reaper Crew now days is not really that high of a bar seeing as majority are afkable now days, I think it just provides the bar to handling various mechanics and understanding of ability management.

Just make it like 75% reaper crew

its just ultimately better to have Reaper Crew because its a relitively low bar, while ensuring the player has somewhat of an understanding.
