#Solve oversupplied market goods with better use of invention materials

This would also help, but I have even less hope that such a change would be made. Invention is an old, slightly out of date solution to vast quantities of useless stuff on the market. I'm only suggesting it be good at what it was meant to do.
This happens more often that you might think. Prices of things like grenwall spikes would make a good example. These are overabundant thanks to Divine Boxtraps in addition to slayer drops. There is no price stability in this chart.
Contrast that with something like ashes, that has steady use cases. The market takes off when Necromany was released, then corrects up and down to a fairly steady price.
I'm not disputing that market crashes happen
I'm disputing that they're a problem
it's part and parcel of dealing with an economy
I won't dispute that it's part of having an economy. I don't think that a boom and bust economy is the best one you can have.
I think in RS it just doesn't matter
in fact, volatility arguably increases the fun of participating in the economy by offering more cases for winning or losing in the economic aspect of the game
Actually, you might have a good point.
