#pvp opt in everywhere.

I have a suggestion to make pvp opt in available everywhere, why not liven up the game by letting us flag for pvp and potentially get benefits like increased luck or something and sometimes run into people to fight. I could see myself flagging for pvp and just doing random stuff and then occasionally fight people I come across who also are flagged. Instead of needing to be in the wild to flag we could flag and do our normal activities this way more people would be more likely to flag for pvp. Most other mmorpgs have this option why not runescape? We've had pvp always on everywhere modes before but since we are trying opt in wilderness why not finally try opt in pvp anywhere? Those not interested would have no risk and those interested in pvp would have fun.

Is Pvp in RuneScape even a thing anymore?

I think your suggestion already exist in rsos as last man standing

PvP already has a community and areas - it doesn't need to spread to other areas of the game where it will inevitably lead to trolls and/or scammers

I agree with cheiv hunter

PvP has an area anyways

maybe not a community

Honestly the opt system currently works. We just need an opt in system with incentives. Like the wilderness should go back to high risk high reward. So opted in players get the benefits of improved luck, xp, etc…

But this also means we need a whole new PvP revamp/rebalance. There’s plenty of threads out there that discuss that and where I’ve also chimed in a bit with some fair suggestions

without elaboration the collective we consists mainly of people who do not need any incentive to engage with high risk pvp because they fundamentally do not want to do that

PvP on RS3 is comedically unbalanced, even the PvP "community" (a generous designation if ever there was one) feels the need to ban an entire combat style from their events, because if they didn't PvP would be a complete joke. Until they fix the combat system in PvP, no support to any kind of PvP updates at all.

I think this would ultimately lead to griefing and an increase in lures/scams, it’s a no from me

@quick yoke you really need to stop arguing with people who reply to you. Is it courteous not to [@]reply if someone asks you to? Sure. Is it worth making a fuss over it whenever it happens? No.
