Citadel needs massive TLC, as it stands right now, there's no incentive to even visit it other than for capping and buff.

It needs shops, towns, any other content.

I agree that the Citadel needs some improvements, clans in general should get some support, but I don't personally see this particular suggestion as a big improvement.

I think it would be a great addition to the citadel. 90% the the clans in the game don't use the citadel after they reach a tier 7. That's horrible. Members and new recruits mis out on additional xp that they worked for. Making the citadel a complete waist. I support the citadel, me personally, I need all the extra xp I can get. Also wanting my clan mates not to mis out on them also. The statue would be a great incentive for new members wanting to start a clan Knowing their clan And Founder would always be remembered 😉 Let's continue to build! 💪 👍

I'm not only not-in-support of this, I'm actively against it. A huge part of clan drama I've witnessed in the past has been directly related to founder vanity issues and I only see this as a potentially harmful addition to the game.

I'll also comfortably say, if I'm a clan member, having a statue worshipping the person who founded the clan is extremely low on my priority list. I don't see this being a motivation to engage in the clan citadel whatsoever.

Again, It's not just my name, It's every Owners name to archive this accomplishment "with their clan" I do agree with "It's Levi" adding shops and other content to draw clan members to the citadel 👍

If a clan leader needs a statue to remind everyone who founded the clan and/or motivate them, then they're a poor leader

I don't see how that's relevant. People can be leaders in many ways without running a clan on RS3, and the principles of leadership don't change.

I'm gunna have to agree with everyone else. A statue with the clan founders names on it will in no way benefit a clan at all.

I’m a clan owner and I agree wholeheartedly with what Chiev said. A statue immortalising my name benefits no one else in the clan but me. It doesn’t unify, it divides

me personally guys.. Unfortunately Cant play rs forever. super exciting game and I made thousands of friends. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only clan owner that would like to leave something that they we're here.. That's all I'm saying. I'm going to continue to raise the bar and see If we can make this happen

The legacy is the clan itself continuing after you're gone - that doesn't require a vanity item like a statue

I'm assuming you're a clan leader by your insistence on this idea... It's not my job nor do I have any interest in telling you how to run your clan and ensure your clan continues after you decide to stop playing

I’m all for new incentives and uses for citadel but I don’t think adding a statue with owner(s) adds much to it. It feels more like it’d benefit the clan owner(s) who are arguably the ones already most invested in the clan

For the record: nearly all of the upvotes are from my clan.

Our leader, and the OP of this post, @merry coyote has been pushing hard for people to upvote this in our clan server and via DMing people.
Many of the votes are from people who joined the server just because they were told to.

So the results are heavily biased.
I did, in fact, cross reference the servers and join dates to confirm this.
