The drop rate for the onyx core is way to low for the frequency of special events. I think that a bad luck mitigation or drop rate enhancer would greatly benefit those of us that are on the grind for the dark facet enchantments. I am currently 700 wilderness events deep and have yet to see a core on a 1/400 drop rate item, and I have been attending every special that I have been available since the release of the wilderness events.

TLDR-

Please add -
Wilderness Drop Enhancer (Wythien)
Wilderness Lucky Charm (Dungeoneering Shop)

hmm ive got 4 onyx cores so, if you do as much special events as you can, you will get them too
additional, the effects of the facetts are too low to be important, so it's not a problem that the item is that rare

Considering we have a Cadarn enhancer a Wilderness enhancer would be nice, could even be a drop added to the wilderness event to help with bad luck mitigation

#

and yes the iron meme seems to be real when it comes to the core drops

# cloud umbra Hazelmeres doublicate effect is also minimal for its rare dropchance 😄

Hazelmere's Signet Ring, Tony's Mattock, Tavia's Road, and Orlando Smith's Hat are hero items. minimal effect and ultra rare. The effects are linked to the item, not the account.

Enchantments on the other hand, such as the Dark Facet and sliver enchantments are account linked, yet the sliver enchantments can be continuously farmed in a day, whereas the drop rate of the onyx core is extremely rare.

If you are to compare something, make sure they are in the same class.

i only mean: not everything have to be very easy to earn

there's quite a lot which isn't easy to earn

#

every item of a similar class (needing 3 of) has an item for bad luck mitigation outside of pvm

okay, whats about a lucky charm to get a sack of very wild rewards instead of a sack of wild reward (can also be used in normal wildnernes flash events)?

That's something I could agree with.

I could agree as well I've gotten one core myself they are insanely rare

We desperately need some sort of bad luck mitigation!

not only do i agree about the wildy event i , feel like with there being so many different events sometimes you don't get the cap kinds of feels cater to high lv players, example the star u need to get 70k damage or 70 monster but people who have magma tempest aoe and higher gear make it harder to see for other player same with kbd. some people might only attend 2-3 events in a day if they are luckey and still might not meet the cap to earn a core

#

something i would not mind seeing is *Wilderness Drop Enhancer (Wythien)
Wilderness Lucky Charm (Dungeoneering Shop

or a way to trade in normal sacks saved up - into special sacks with the imp this would encourage people to do the other events as well and not just the special 3 events

I find your point about the onyx core drop rates in wilderness events quite intriguing. Like you, I've been eagerly anticipating this drop but have yet to acquire it, despite its 1/400 drop rate. Your experience of participating in 700 events without success definitely highlights the rarity and challenge in obtaining this item.

From a different perspective, I do see the allure of finally getting the onyx core as a drop. The prospect of selling it for a substantial amount of GP is undeniably tempting. It represents not just an achievement but also a significant financial reward within the game.

Regarding the suggestion of a bad luck mitigation or a drop rate enhancer, I'm somewhat torn. On one hand, a slight adjustment to improve the odds could indeed benefit those who've been grinding tirelessly. It could make the process feel more rewarding and less frustrating.

However, on the other hand, there's a delicate balance to maintain so as not to overly inflate the supply and consequently tank the market value of the onyx core. The rarity of the item is partly what makes it so valuable, both in terms of GP and the sense of accomplishment in obtaining it.

Perhaps a middle ground could be found. A modest increase in drop rate or a system that slightly improves odds for players who've participated in a high number of events without success might work. This adjustment could acknowledge the efforts of dedicated players while still preserving the item's rarity and market value.

Finding the right balance between rewarding player effort and maintaining a healthy game economy is crucial.

My preferred system is getting reward points for participating/clearing events and the shop having a selection of wildy related items (mostly things from the sacks, but this has room for other things as well). It wouldn't be an absurd return, but it'd be something to act as a hard cap on how much effort you need to get a core and other high ticket items.

#

Also acts as a way to reward sticking around after personal is done.

#

Might also be a way to buy unlock perks like 'can combine brawlers with glove-slot skilling outfit items'.

Honestly, the whole economy in the game is already trashed. Some things should just be untradeable items, with the drop rate changed to reflect that. Not everything needs to be a billion+ profit. If the wild events were rewarding enough with experience, people would still be doing them.

As for the middle ground, having a system in place similar to what they did for Sceptre of the Gods would work, where if you go over a certain point, lets say 200 wilder sacks, the drop rate starts decrementing until you receive the drop, then resets, that would give players more faith that they will eventually receive a core.

I feel this idea may have some merit, like adding lamps and stars to the shop for excess points after everything else is purchased, and revenant drop enhancers would definitely fit in here. When it comes to brawlers, I feel they should have given the option to combine all gloves, as having all skills separately in bank is a huge waste of space, or a storage item like brooch of the gods does to urns, but for brawlers.
