#Necro is more of a gathering skill then a cb for irons

For a lot of us newer iron people, we spend most of our time collecting bones or ashes which go straight into necro, bones we get no prayer xp for and ashes are a pain to collect when your a lower level, you either wait out the timer for logs to burn off or attempt abyss completely packed with mains and higher levels. you spend an hour just collecting the resources to make 10 porters, there needs to be some better methods, maybe add ash collecter to the med tasks, so dropped ashes are collected, yes i know i put myself at a disadvantage by playing irons but it needs to be made not so resource heavy, spending endless hours collecting bones to not even put it on prayer and for it to go into necro, or you fall behind on that.

so ashes I absolutely agree with. introducing this much of a need for them without introducing a reasonable source has to be an error.

beyond very low levels (which you get pretty quickly doing combat wherever) mementos should essentially self-sustain, I used <100 total bones to 110 and they will self-sustain to 120

feel like what's needed is a reasonable ashes source that doesn't rely on having other skills levelled, as currently you either need high divination for porters, or firemaking/smithing for fire spirits

honestly I'd just add 100 ashes as a common drop from hermod or something

Once you get to a decent level, getting dragon and dragonkin bones is stupid easy.

Vindi drops dragon bones like crazy, and dragonkin in gwd3 drop both their own bones and treasure troves which have a decent amount themselves.

I think the AFK method for Kerapac NM still works.

Necro bosses should have had necro mat drops. But this entire concern of ashes is blown out of proportion. You literally can get 2k an hour at glowing mushrooms

Also complaining about gathering for a skill as an iron man is wild. That’s literally the point of being an Ironman
