The series has extremely transphobic and racial stereotypes, both of which have been defended in rs with things like pollnivneach having all their npcs renamed as to not touch on the idea of everyone in a place having the same name. Its just not something that should be supported or further given a platform to popularise it

Werewolves are a metaphor for AIDS, the only asian character is called Cho Chang, the irish character Seamus Finnigan always has explosions occur when he's in scenes, One of the two black characters has the name "Shacklebolt" referring to slavery, there's a lot that link goblins to antisemitism, Professor Quirrell has a turban thats hiding a very dangerous thing underneath which is an implication that I'm sure you can piece together yourself. Could name quite a few more nasty stereotypes that for some reason are all ignored in the content.
There's a LOT of bad shit thats in the books/movies, and considering the game takes such a high position on being diverse and inclusive, things that are from a series like this just really shouldn't be added.
I don't need to name any other piece of media where the proceeds don't go to someone bad because there isn't a suggestion about those pieces of media. If there was then you can know I'd put my opinion in on that too.

Hopefully they don't retcon in some of the more silly notions that Rowling put out on twitter to try and placate the twitter mob. I mean, I can definitely see Dumbledore being gay (to quote a fantastic fanfic, I got three words for you; sparkling lilac robes), but if she wanted Hermione to be black the time to say so was during casting for the movies.
