Ninjas, Yaks and Jam. What a combo! They’re also the subjects of this week’s update. Let’s break ‘em down, one by one… Please note that the Patch launch is at 12 Game time this week.

Remember when they gave us 8 weeks of time to complete Yak tasks to give us a breather for 50 tasks.
Now it's 8 weeks to complete 70 tasks with the same excuse.
Feb 27th till May 15th is 77 days or 11 weeks
Ah, it says over 2 months.
Regardless, this means we went from 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off to likely 11 weeks on and 1 week off.
Necklace of Salamancy can now be put into your Keepsake Box as an override
If i keepsake it can i collect a second one ? if no will the effect work keepsaked ?
Massive F to the Sus Hunter XP rates 😔
I'm glad they did something about the absurd amount of resources and hunt xp from croesus.
I can't say I'm happy about the croesus nerfs, it already got nerfed by seeds coming out. Saw av loot drop from 10m to sometimes 6m 🥲 not looking forward what it'll drop to now lol :/
Sponge says "Keepsaking it should store a copy so you wont need to"
Thank you
So many good patches this week! Thanks guys!
so whatever we get over 400 contribution at croesus we receive nothing if we dont get the rare?
no additional rolls beyond the 0-399 rolls
so you still get commons, just not extra commons
so... getting 420 contribution or more still meta?
yeah
especially since a much greater portion of earnings is gonna come from uniques now
Happy that engaging skilling content like casting ophidian incubation is being prioritized over boring skilling content like playing croesus
200 hours of duo croesus now gives 1/5 of the eggs you need for the relevant non-fsoa PVM logs
I was hoping for a raksha drop rework, while at the area. It was announced 2x on twitch streams that the drop table of raksha is not good/relevant anymore (not talking about the chain/grico codexes of course, but general drops)
Those new outfits look lovely. Some realistic elements to them, too - always good to see!
Wish they made it so you could toggle arrowtips from corehammer and fyrtorch
During Croesus
why would you nerf croesus drops? its already average 5-10m per hour in commons. without bik pages and rare drops.
Easily accessible, too.
The rares and pages throw profit back to 50m+ per hour.
Sure but with accessible things, at least theoretically newish players might want to give it a spin
If commons are so low, that sort of player might not want to stick with it if they don't get a drop
Also it depends on the commons. Just removing salvage and the onyx change seem like the things to prioritize, I don't see why one would nerf herblore secondaries since that's the intended way they enter the game.
Not to belabor the point but especially when it comes to cockatrice egg; the only other way they enter the game is through ophidian incubation, which is both extremely janky and will probably not reach the value of other skilling methods, especially equal-intensity ones with the growing popularity of kalg demon familiars reducing the value of summoning potions
love the new cosmetics (a LOT!) except one minor detail. already submitted an in-game bug report :3
i know i'm a duchess and everything, but i can't be so bad a ruler my subjects want my head removed THIS quickly? right??
They want a share of your phat.
If you rule over 5 people only, they get a 10b split after all 👌🏼👌🏼
bring the previous bladed dive back please.
Bladed dive is still there, but now with more flexibility.
Please revert the croesus drop changes, buff the page drops or remove the 11/12 loot roll restrictions please please please. Or anything else to make people want to do croe again. It's almost impossible to find groups anymore (and it wasnt the easiest to find groups before the nerfs)
Why push PvM with lowering death costs then nerf common drops???
Im just curious to why we made this big push to cut death costs to get players to PvM now we have nerfed Croesus. Which is one if my favorites and find myself not even wanting to play anymore but we are also discussing nerfing other common drops from other bosses. Then once this “GE Tax and removing gold from the game” supposedly stabilizes the economy and make prices lower do you plan or recalibrating them again. Never thought a simple thing like that could change how I play the game. But just wanted to throw my questions and concerns out there for this change and how you are looking at moving forwards.
not an official answer but the idea is very much to increase the relative profitability of non-PvM sources, so players have a wider range of activities they feel they can do without wasting their time
Sadly it wont change it. Bots deplete those sources lol the ones the pretty much refuse to ban.
yeah afk content is p much dead in the water for profitability, but Mod Jack did a really good exposition of the thought process in the stream in #game-news
