Tangible proof that we are not just shouting into the void and Jagex sees and thinks about what we have to suggest would be a great PR move. More community interaction is more better.

That's kind of the tradeoff for having proper communication with your fanbase. Also, some people will read too far into a jmod's chosen breakfast cereal; trying to counter that is a fool's errand.
