After completing 100 master clue steps on the arc, you can buy the ectoplasmator upgrade for 1000 taijitu and 1m chimes. The upgraded ectoplasmator will only burn an ash if you are missing more prayer points than the ash would restore in prayer. This would make using the ectoplasmator much more cost efficient allowing you to save the extra ashes.

I'm gonna be honest, this cost needs rebalancing. The entire Arc comp (t) req costs only 1/3rd of your proposed cost (1m chimes & 1K taijitu at time of writing), and even that made me cry tears of blood 😂
