This item could be a reward from any existing or upcoming content (no preference). Extremely useful for Slayer.

Don't forget those pesky spirit gems too πŸ‘

combine the bags πŸ˜‰

winged atlas
#

Ah right, if you allow to store talon charms and abyssal charms, this become a problem. Well, I'm against storing those.

#

This is mostly a QOL for Slayer where you save up to 3-4 inventory slots.

#

Just seems fitting to have 1 bag than 2 separate bags for core summoning stuff

#

Imp now picks up spirit gems (and destroys them), so why not πŸ™‚

sleek sail
#

you could also just have an upgrade where, for a gp fee, your imp takes the charms to your bank instead of inventory

with a toggle option ofc

random venture
#

thats a dame good photo shop

Would also be good to fix the charming imp in your pouch so that charms can appear on the ground again. If the imps on they go invo, if its off(but not really) they get consumed

frail furnace

#

not having it fill up invo mid combat when killing mobs, really its EDs where that happens the most and loot em after. The uses for that would be pretty small tbf but it seems odd you can't just turn it off once its in your toolbelt

mystic bough
#

πŸ‘ I think this would be a good addition to the game.

sleek sail

#

aye that would be another that for ed they could probably go to the chest if fixed

ocean pawn
#

hot-take, charms should just be added to the currency pouch

thick timber
#

That would be nice, though then I think it might be a good idea to look at additional things to do with them. Once you get all the XP you want, there is very little reason to give a damn about gold and green charms for instance, and not everyone wants to burn an hour to make a stack of yak pouches or even longer to make demon pouches.

ocean pawn
#

allow em to be put into packs like components and to be sold on the grand exchange

I like this idea

Those use red and blue as well though, and those are actually useful in the nosebleeds.

#

The only summon I see as being useful for anything besides disassembly from green and gold is beavers for bak runs. That is at absolute "you are sacrificing sleep time to sweat for Runescape" maximum 4 green charms a day spent. You get more than that from Bork just for having a decent luck ring and laying hands on Varrock Armor 3.

#

If there actually is a useful summon on that list I didn't see, feel free to correct me.

frail furnace
#

Oh yeah important context is that I set my charming imp to burn greens and golds so those piles aren't getting bigger

This would also be great at Croesus until they fix the charms going into inventory all the time, like said before πŸ™‚ I do believe they announced they were fixing the croe issue though

Beavers are also useful at Croesus if you don’t have the furnace core or torch

Would be cool to add this to toolbelt / currency pouch somehow so charms may be collected with the charming imp, which would then go straight to your currency pouch

winged atlas
#

My idea is that charms picked up to the backpack by the charming imp would go to the bag if you have it with you.

Hmm... been thinking about the ore and wood boxes.

Since we have the charming imp gathering multiple charms including non-stackable (Gems, abyssal, etc.) and miscellaneous (dragon charms).

The Charm bag acts in tiers.

And needs to be crafted from their non-stackable charms, and beast of burden pouches per tier.

This will increase the quantity it holds as well type of charms.

it doesn't though, unless you're willing to take out your charms and the bag itself whenever you get some to store them (assuming the bag's capacity is unlimited)
unless you literally take it with you everywhere there are charm drops

you'd need functionality to automagically deposit things that can be stored in boxes/bags in unlimited quantities to go in those containers when you bank them instead of in your actual bank, and i definitely want that kind of functionality personally

to add to OP, i'd like for the charming imp's auto pickup to also deposit into the bag if you happen to be carrying both

Boss drop? Osseus or new skilling boss?

grand island
# frozen lance Boss drop? Osseus or new skilling boss?

i figured familiarisation reward, charm sprites reward, something along those lines. a thing to get from summoning-related d&d or minigames and can be earned relatively early

otherwise you could always go the easy route and make it a DG token shop item i guess

frozen lance
#

i like the idea of minigame rewards.

winged atlas

Ideally it should be a reward from the Summoning introduction quest, Wolf Whistle

or a sequel to that quest. that'd be fun

I can't believe simple reward spaces like this are not utilised

south matrix

Definitely want some sort of charm drop storage. Not for crafting necessarily but farming. It does not feel good leaving behind or destroying the tertiary charms. Nor is it fun having to do constant bank runs if you want them.

Might be a bit too early game of a quest for such an important reward =P

grand island

instead of adding another bag, maybe it would make more sense and be more functional if a charm storage was added to obelisks in the same way that the metal bank was added to anvils and furnaces during the original smithing update. that way you save bank space and get an extra slot for pouch ingredients when training summoning. as for the slayer functionality, you could make the charming imp automatically deposit charms into the charm storage. this would make unlocking the charming imp for 100k tokens feel even more meaningful since before that point you would still need to have inventory slots open for charm drops while slaying.

Oh yes, I'd love to have a companion to the Charming Imp. Let's call it the Charming Sack (:
